Prologue

It's not how they say it is. Being an orphan. You'd think I would be sour, turned bad from bad times. Honestly, I think it teaches you to honor bonds.

Being alone is the hardest part. Having nobody to talk to. Sitting in a room unable to tell anybody about your day. Possibly even worst, is not having a day to talk about. Everyday being the same.

I didn't leave my home for twelve years. Imagine being a girl, confined to a dinky little house. Your only company is a house elf who was instructed to raise you as a witch.

I prayed for this to change. For the secret keeper to break his promise. For someone to find me. But nobody ever did.
