You glanced around, watching as Sora ran off towards a junk yard to go build the vehicle for the race. They only had 5 minutes until the race started after all.

Zane, squeezed your elbow, leaning in. "We only need 75% of the team to participate and win. I thought it'd be best for Arin to go searching for clues while everyone was focused on the race."

Nodding, you squeezed his hand back. "I'll go with him. Two heads are better than one." Tilting your head to the side, you motioned Arin to follow.

You snuck into and alley, sitting on a crate as he leaned against the wall beside you, proper noir style.

He tilted his head. "Clue time?"

"Clue time." You confirmed, smirking.

Approaching Ras' headquarters, you froze at the clawing noise. It was like rocks scraping on wood. Was Ras sharpening his claws?

Arin grabbed your hand, peering around the corner, but almost instantly relaxed. "Riyu? I was wondering where you were. Now we have an detective trio!"

You slipped through a window, unlocking the door from inside. "Ladies first." You smiled, motioning for them both to follow you in.

"Right.. so we're looking for anything connected to the matriarch or the bots that attacked everyone." Arin mumbled, scratching his chin.

Riyu flinched, his tail hitting into your shin. He hurried over to one side of the room, frantically scrounging around. ...Weird.

Arin shrugged, beginning to look around too.

You headed upstairs, checking the kitchen and bathrooms (you never knew, maybe someone was taking an evil shit). Flicking the light back off, you stepped down, freezing at the voice. It wasn't Arin.

"-Arin and his pet dragon. Just like I suspected. Did your master, Lloyd set you up for this?" Ras. "Sending in one of the youngest, inexperienced Ninja, into enemy territory alone? Seems like his.. brand of leadership."

Scoffing, the kid talked back. "I didn't need Elemental Powers to defeat you at the Blood Moon ritual, and I won't need them now."

What was he talking about? Defeating Ras was.. was his failed object Spinjitzu. Shit.

"Did anyone really not tell you? You didn't hit me. Your little friend used her tech abilities to power the object that struck me. She is hiding a truth from you. Yet another lie from your so-called teammates."

You froze. How did Ras know? You didn't know what to do. You honestly had half a mind to leave, that pit feeling of guilt settled in your gut. You knew and didn't tell him.

"No! Sora- she would've told me if she did it. I did that by myself."

Ras hummed. "Perhaps the lie was covering up their inability to train you. The cycle of mastery eludes you."

You flipped your hood up, connecting to the comm link. "We've been exposed, Ras found Arin and Riyu, I haven't been discovered." You whispered hoping someone was listening.

"If Lloyd Garmadon is incapable of unleashing that potential-"

Cole's voice came in, choppy and loud. "Get him out! Real- ly busy, driving! Keep hidden!"

You disconnected, trying to listen to their voices again.

Arin scoffed. "You wanna what?"

"I wish to reverse the merge. Simple.
