He politely declined his friend's invitation.
Kerr was still awake when the moon shied away from the stars. He'd been walking back and forth in
his old bedroom. The sight of the mailbox down below his upstairs bedroom, where Elle used to drop
her love notes made him more nostalgic.
"Where are you now Elle?"
The very soft but audible song in the background is not helpful.
"...Seems I really missed you, after all.
Time won't let me keep
These sad thoughts to myself
I just want to let you know
I wish I never let you go...
Kerr tried to hold back his tears. He actually stopped hoping for that chance to see her again two
years ago when she never came back. Maybe, she still couldn't find the heart to at least forgive him.
Or maybe she already did...has moved on and found someone who loves her more.
But deep inside him, he's still wishing fervently to see her. He just wants to make sure that she's
happier now and has regained all that she lost. He just wanted to tell her that he kept his promise...
to love no one except her. After that, he knows he'll be able to let go of her... memory.
He didn't even know if he ever slept at all. But the loud buzz from his alarm woke him up. A quick
shower and he's speeding to Wyerson for a late appointment.
"Jeez... so much has changed here in three years."
Writer's Message:
I know someone who goes to that university.
Will they accidentally bumped into each other?
Maybe...maybe not...Yet
