Chapter 25: Hello Love

Allison came home at midnight and was surprised to see Elle up. She can sense that

something is wrong immediately as her eyes were red and puffy

."Do you want to tell me anything love?"

Elle just looked at her and burst into tears.

"My goodness Elle...what happened to you?"

Elle told her about an almost encounter with what she thought she saw at school was Kerr.

"Okay...did you talk to him though?"

"I can't. I walked as fast as I can to the parking lot."

"Wait... so how did you know it's him?"

" Its my gut feeling that told me its him."

" So why are you crying now?''

" I don't know why, okay?"

Allison tried to control laughing at her cousin's situation. But she also understood what she went through with Kerr and the difficulties she faced to move forward in her young life. She's just confused right now.

She went to her and hugged her tightly and said:" Do you want my opinion Elle?"

Elle looked at her for a long time and nodded her head.

" You can't ran away from the past. You need to face it; otherwise, you'll be fearful forever. I think you need this to have a closure... for you to move on completely...because you deserve to be happy. If talking to him again will help you to achieve that, then be it. That's my two cents on the matter. Take it or leave it.

Elle was quiet for a long time. Allison can tell that she is weighing her options considerably.

Chapter 26: Two Old Sweethearts Who Fell Apart

Elle got only 3 days before her school term officially ends. She went back to Wyerson to

retrieve some papers from her professors. She's determined to use that chance

to find out about Kerr and his business here. She promised herself that she will be civil if

she sees him. No anger. No outburst. Because she will look like a fool if she does.

She's determined to do this once and for all so she can finally live in peace and

Hopefully, be happy too with someone else in the future.

She's sending a text message to Allison when someone tapped her on the shoulder.

" Elle?" His voice was unsure but she can never make a mistake this time. " What's

wrong with me?''

.She looked up with a frown on her face.

She almost dropped her iPhone when she realized who called her name. After 3 years

of not seeing each other, Kerr is in front of her. She was right. It was him that she saw

the other day!. She felt all her blood vessels going  to her face, like she's having

a fever. "Please God! Here I go again!" she prays silently as she felt her voice left her

and cannot open her mouth due to shock and now, nervousness.

And both of them felt the world stopped. No one said a word. They just looked at each

other. And before Elle can say anything, he hugged her tightly. Same feeling when

they were still together. Kerr closed his eyes to remember every scent of this girl and

feel every cell of hers. His mind is shouting " I missed you so much Elle.  I never thought

I will see you again." But these words remained unspoken.
