Masibis Bay once again became her refuge. Allaine listened with so much empathy as his daughter retold her story and Kerr's. He knew all along that something was amissed with her reasons for coming over years ago. But he waited till she was ready to tell her own story. He fully knew that change should always be her decision. As a father, he can only wait for that time to come when she is ready to open herself. He should know because like his daughter, he also suffered a tremendous loss... actually for both of them. She, a mother and he, a partner in everything.
But he is confident that in no time at all, Elle will start her life once again because courage and resilience run in her blood.
