The investigation has been initiated in Zimbabwe regarding the massacre of the Kingalis. The village

doctors who treated Kerr were fetched by members of the Commission on Human Rights and housed

in the complex until the trial began. They listened to Kerr's video interview about the government

jeep that was in the village premises prior to the explosion. At the end, saddled by the images of the

dead and the guilt that he carries everyday, one of the armed men who came to the village to wipe

out everyone came forward to become a state witness. Those who were involved according to the

state witness ordered the attack after surveys indicated their possible loss in the coming election due

to the private fundings of hospitals and schools that the government failed to provide. They blamed

the presence of these Canadian engineers for the internal divide amongst the officials and the tribe

people. The investigation led to the arrests of some members of the local government in which

justice was finally served. After the sentencing, Kuruku and his tribe thanked the representative of

the Canadian Embassy in behalf of Kerr.

After a brief introduction to her Dad, Kerr narrated how he survived the attack in Zimbabwe and how

he was rescued by the same tribe he built a school and hospital for. He also confirmed that he was in

a state of coma for a few days in that village and miraculously survive without modern hospital

technology except for the old ways that the village doctors employed to heal his body and spirit. Then

 he said to Elle:

"You asked me to come back, Elle. I just felt that strong pull which I cannot explain up to this day but I

saw you Elle." He came to her and hugged her tightly. Elle remembered her dream. Was it really a

dream? But whatever it was, Elle was sure it was an act of God. Fate is finally on their side.
