My hands pushed both doors in as I announced my arrival to the empty school on Monday morning. I would have come just when everyone was there and made my entrance but I had some work to do.

My high heeled boots echoed across the floor as I made my way over to Parker’s locker. Once I had found it, I laughed to myself.  It was funny that he carved his name into the brown painted metal because it only made it easier for me to know which one it was. I ran my hand down the cool surface and cocked my head to the side, smirking to myself at my plan.

Dropping my bag to the floor, I unzipped it and pulled out the super glue I had bought yesterday. Neither of my parents questioned it.

My parents did have quite a shock when they came home from the charity event on Saturday to see me entirely different. My dad flipped while my mom tried to reassure him that it was just a phase and I'd be back to normal soon. I had rolled my eyes at them and snapped my gun against the roof of my mouth before stomping back off to my room. I remember vaguely hearing my mom preach to my dad about something she read online about teenage girls changing themselves when they met a boy. I laughed at that one, partly because it was true but not in way she was thinking.

The glue was perched in my hand, so I quickly flipped the lock up so I could see the back of it and opened the cap on the glue. I squirted a ton on the lock before rubbing it in with a Popsicle stick. The excess fell to the floor and I made sure to clean it up with some paper towels from my bag to not leave any evidence.

Boy, I was just getting started.

I figured I would start off with small pranks before escalating them to huge ones. Some of stage two was still going to be used but it was going to be hard because I needed other people for it. My new plan didn't include much anyone else except for me, myself and I. And Parker if you include the victim, or should I say villain?

What Parker was going to do to retaliate didn't matter to me anymore, because nothing was going to make me fall through with this plan. I had no pride anymore; I literally had nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Stepping back from the lock, I smiled at my handy work. My bangs fell into my eyes and my fingers itched to brush them away but I held back because I knew there were bits of glue stuck on my hands. My bag lay on the ground so I quickly bent down and picked it up but not before I stuffed away the glue bottle, making sure the lid was on tight, before I made my way to the bathroom to wash my hands. I noted that the halls were still pretty quiet, just with a few niners that wanted to get a head start on studying. I reached the washroom and pushed the door open with my hip before walking right over to the sinks. I tried not to look in the mirror as I washed my hands because I knew old Grace would be back, nagging at the choice of make-up and outfit.
