Height Doesn't Matter - Requested by Tumblr user confused-jane

Y/N

You were getting ready to go to the APMAs with your fiancée Vic Fuentes. You had tweeted that you were getting ready and like usual a tidal wave of hate comments came in about your height. Yes you were tall, around 6ft and Vic was smaller than you but you couldn't understand why fans picked on you.

Sure you'd gotten comments throughout High School such as 'Amazon' 'Attack of the 50ft woman' and even 'Bigfoot' but when you grew up you kind of expected everyone to grow with you. However, you forgot to factor in the young aged fans of Pierce The Veil who loved to stir hate.

Fans could be cruel when they wanted, you had to keep telling yourself that they were jealous you had snatched Vic away from them. But you were currently pregnant with your second child so your emotions were all over the place. You let the hate get to you and collapsed on the floor crying.

"Hey, babe are you nearly ready?"

Vic comes into your bedroom holding your 2-year-old son S/N, he sees you crying and puts your son down.

"Daddy, why is mummy crying?"

You never wanted to cry in front of your son.

"S/N go give your mum a big hug and a kiss."

Your son totters towards you, he looks so much like his father. He jumps on you and gives you a hug before kissing you on the cheek, you can't help but smile back and playfully tickle him and blow kisses on his stomach.

Thank you, angel, you always know how to make mummy feel better."

"Go to your room S/N and the babysitter will tuck you in. Mum and I'll be in soon to say goodnight."

Your son sighs and climbs off you at his dad's command and leaves your room. Vic slides down next to you and wraps his arms around you.

"What's got you upset? You know I hate to see you cry Y/N."

You sniffle and glance up at your phone which is still on the counter, "I guess the hormones are getting to me. Normally I'm good at blocking out fans who make fun of my height but tonight it broke me. Maybe they're right Vic, you need to be with someone smaller."

"Don't be stupid Y/N. I love you, I love your height. You are beautiful. Don't let the fans get to you. We have a beautiful son and a little girl on the way. People don't make decisions for me, I'm never going to trade you in because who else would be able to put up with me?"

You can't help but laugh, Vic always knew how to make you laugh and cheer you up. He was also right about no one else being able to put up with his habits. Fans assumed it was easy being the girlfriend or wife of a musician or celebrity in general but it was a hard lifestyle. Very few girlfriends stick it out as long as the veterans because they can't stand seeing their lover being fawned over by thousands of screaming girls each night.

"Do you mean it, Vic, do you love me? My height still hasn't put you off?"

He shakes his head and kisses you softly on the lips, "I love you Y/N. You're going to be a great wife and an even better mother. No one could ever replace you in my eyes. Now let's get going so I can show off my stunning fiancée."

You both get up off the floor and you help straighten Vic's suit. Just as you slide into your pumps you feel a small pain in your stomach, you bend over but know what it is.

"Babe, what's wrong?"

You shake off a concerned Vic and take a deep breath, "the baby is kicking."

You stand back up and watch Vic's eyes light up as he touches your belly.

"See even our unborn baby knows how beautiful her mother is."

You crack a smile and place a hand over Vic's as the baby kicks again. Suddenly all the hate fades away, you had a caring family and friends who loved and supported you. No one was going to tell you otherwise.
