Melody has always had a crush on him, but even if he asked, which she doubted would happen, she wouldn't agree to date him. He don't even notice her. He has terrible grades, hits on every single girl, and is a jerk.

Did I mention that Melody's father is abusive? Well, he is. Not badly, but that doesn't make it okay. He blames her for her mother's death. She was in the car during the crash. He still hasn't let it go.
