Winning Comment:

In one chapter you had me feeling for this rhino, this Gus. He had real emotions and real thoughts and though his mind was surprisingly human you still made him very much a rhino by how what he referred the zookeeper as and how he referred humans as two-legs and children calves. You knew he was a rhino yet you could put yourself in his hooves and feel what he did. Your heart ached at his tragic story. Your soul cheered when he finally allowed himself to dance again. Your mind struggled to comprehend how you could feel this way about words on a website. Well, you wrinkled pile of pink mush, it's because this guy here has some serious talent.I'll be honest, and I'm not kissing ass here but speaking from the heart, I had tears of joy in my eyes when I read about him dancing with the little girl again. Maybe it's because it's late here but I like to think it's because you pulled me into your story so well that my emotions were going along with it.So, you asked, "Do you connect with the characters? Feel for them?" The answer is resounding, "DUH!" - GreatGustav
