Shadow, Circuit, Luxe and the reluctant Max who wasn’t happy were travelling to the west to a small rural town. Max was moaning “remind me again…WHY…did I have to go along?” Luxe looked at him with her hands on her sides
“haven’t you stopped moaning yet?”
“is he still going on” said Shadow holding his head “if I had known you were this much of a headache I would have-”
“left me behind right?” said Max smartly trying to finish his sentence
“nope…I’d have followed Circuit’s suggestion”
Max looked at Circuit who had an odd smile “and…what was…her suggestion?” said Max as nervously as Circuit held out her hand
“I give you some tender loving care” she said generating electricity “and then we drag you along…quite…literally. If you ask me…that option is still open”
“Alright…alright I get it” said Max defeated
“why is he moaning anyway?” said Shadow
“well, since your…em…cold escapade” said Circuit “both Ariana and Julia came down with colds and are receiving…special attention from Sophia”
“oh...i get it” said Shadow “that explains the fake sneezing. He was hoping for some one-on-one time” as he said it Shadow sneezed.
This made Luxe worry “hey are you alright?” she felt Shadow’s head making him nervous “you aren’t coming down with anything are you?” as Max saw this he looked shocked and incredibly annoyed as he frantically rubbed his head
“oh…come onnnnnn”cried out Max which meant Circuit couldn’t help but laugh
“that option isss…still open” said Circuit jokingly
“I’m…considering it” said Max which made Circuit laugh out loud which made Max laugh along. Shadow turned round and looked at them
“what’s up with them?” Luxe simply shrugged her shoulders.
It was some-time later in the day when the two arrived at a suburban town or rather…what was left of it. Max looked out “yet another ruined town. You know…I wouldn’t mind a change of scenery once in a while”
“Don’t blame you Maxxy” said Circuit “even I wouldn’t mind a green garden or two”
“finally someone with some aesthetic sense” Circuit looked impressed
“look at you and your big words. You just gained some respect points”
Luxe looked at Shadow“And she has a go at us for being chummy” said Luxe while Shadow just simply shrugged his shoulders “still…where do we begin looking? I don’t really want to dig through all this rubble”
“Well…hang on” said Shadow as he took of his pack and looked at the map “we just arrived so we’re here” he said pointing with his finger “so…it should be” as he looked “at that stand-alone…mansion” Shadow and Luxe looked at the very large mansion “why…why oh why is it always a mansion? They are practically in every horror and scare story”
