"So, I'm building a treehouse in the backyard for the boys." (COMMENT IF YOU KNOW WHERE THIS IS GOING) Aphmau scooped cereal into her mouth, milk getting onto the corners of her mouth. I laughed and took a tissue, wiping away the milk. Zoey had taken a trip back to her home for a short while, Yggdrasil City or something.

"Cool." I say, chewing on the cereal. There's a short silence between us.

"Garr Garr!" I hear Levin's chirpy voice yell from the stairs, and soon Levin himself waddles in front of me.

"Good morning Levin." I smile at him, and Malachi grins behind him.

"Did you sleep well Garroth?" Malachi asked, and I nodded.

"Boys, go get breakfast. It's on the counter." Aphmau tells them, and they run off.

"We have to go get you new clothes now." She laughs, standing up with her bowl in one hand, and taking mine with the other.

"Thanks." I thank her, and Levin and Malachi get onto their chairs and start eating.

"We can do that tomorrow, I already cleaned the clothes you wore here. Wear that tonight and tomorrow and then you'll have new clothes." She smiled at me, walking towards me from the kitchen.

"I'm going to go work on the treehouse now. Boys, stay with Garroth. Okay?" Aphmau instructed, and they both nodded, milk all around their mouth. Aphmau laughs, and walks towards the door.

"Keep them busy, Garroth." She says, and walks out smiling.

"I'm going to go check on Aphmau, okay?" I tell the boys, who were playing with their toys.

"Okay." They said in unison, and I stand up, my hair falling in front of my face. The world was a blur yet again, I had taken out my contacts as I had accidentally fallen asleep with them in and that is very dangerous. (for real)

I walked out of the boys' room and down the stairs, and I walk outside. I roll up the sleeves of my jumper since it was so hot, and I walked behind the house.

That is a huge tree.

There was a gigantic tree planted behind the house, and hammering could be heard loud and clear.

What is she doing?

I walk around the tree, examining it. The wood was a dark colour, and the leaves constantly rustled loudly in the wind.

I walk around the tree for a second time, this time looking up in hopes of spotting Aphmau.

"Garroth!" I heard her say happily, and I look slightly more up. She was on a ledge, hammering fences into the floor. I was quite far from where she actually was, though I could see her perfectly fine.

"I'm almost done, I just have to-"

She loses balance, her hands losing grip of the unstable fence that was barely hammered down. My legs moved faster than my mind, and my heart was racing.

Irene forbid anything happen to her.

I close my eyes as I stop in the spot and extend my arms, sufficiently glad that the tree is quite high up, causing a longer fall and more time.

I feel a weight in my arms and I slowly open my eyes, and Aphmau is looking at me in relief, yet she's still terrified. Her breaths are shaky and tears threaten to spill out of her eyes. I don't want to put her down, but I have to.

I put her down and she starts to cry, her hands flying up to her face to cover it. I toss my arms around her, engulfing her in a hug.

"Shhh, it's okay. You're alright. Don't worry, I got you." I whisper into her ear, attempting to calm her down. Sure enough her breathing slows, but we stay hugging. I enjoy her warmth, despite her just falling from a really tall tree.

We pull away eventually and Aphmau is smiling weakly.

"T-T-Thank you. I n-nearly died!" She stuttered, and I smiled.

"Good thing you didn't." I say.

Good thing you didn't.

Great thing you didn't.

Fantastic, you didn't.

"Thank you Garroth." She hugs me again, and I hug her back. She pulls back, but doesn't let go of my torso. My hands are still around her waist. She looks slightly up and her sparkling hazel eyes are gazing into mine, and the familiar urge returns.

You know you want to lock lips.

Shut up.

You know you want to do it.

Go away.

Nope, you want to do it. You really, really want to.

Just stop.

Eventually I give in to my inner taunting, and start to slowly lean forward. She also noticably starts to lean forward. We get closer, and I can feel her hot breath on my face.

"Aphmoo! Garr Garr!" I suddenly hear, and the moment is broken. Aphmau takes her hands away from my torso and moves away, and towards the little boy stumbling over the grass.

"Hey boys! The treehouse is ready. Garroth, do you wanna come play too?" She turns to look at me, while taking Levin's tiny hand. Malachi is beside Levin, smiling.

"Sure."
