Chapter 14

Ding

Dong

As soon as the doorbell rings Tye jumps up off the floor and runs out the room. Since Emma's in the bathroom I get up and walk to the front to answer the door. Bending down I grab Tye so he can't run out then open the door.

"Surprise." Julian smiles at me while he holds some shopping bags in his hands. Why is he here? I thought Emma said she, 'had them distracted.' "Are you going to let us in our stand outside all day?" Stepping aside Julian walks in with Landon behind him.

"How was your girls day?" Landon uses his fingers to make quotes around the words girls day. I shrug and follow Julian into the kitchen.

"Rine did you see we made the cutest couple?" Who hasn't saw? "I heard were even cuter than Landon and Emma." He chuckles as I fit the pieces together. So that's what she meant when she said, 'she was once the cutest couple.'

"I heard my name." Emma comes around the corner smiling until she sees Landon. "I thought I only invited Julian?" She thinks out loud.

"Well my best friend couldn't bare to be without me for one second so he invited me to. Just be thankful we'd don't invite Audrey." I know I'm thankful.

I wonder what time mom and dad are getting back?

"So I went out and bought some movies since Landon told me Rine doesn't watch movies. So there are none on the house. So I got Alien 500, The hole, and The brain." Funny I've never herd of any of those.

"Julian are you serious right now?" Emma asks. "All of those are horror movies with you in them and one with Landon. We see you two everyday we don't want to see you on the movie screen two." I wouldn't mind seeing Julian on the movie screen.

"That's why I picked out some other choices. Pizza my heart, book nerd, and Stealing my heart." Those all seem like romance movies, and if I remember correctly Emma has gushed about those movies to me before.

"The funny thing is though we're watching none of those. I knew I could never count on you two. That's why I brought my own movie over. We're going to watch Danger. That's neither of you two are in. Now pop the popcorn and meet me in the movie room." Emma walks off frustrated.

"Well I missed you." Julian smiles at me, while I go sit at the bar. I smile back to let him know I feel the same while I rub Tye's head.

"So are you two like?" Landon starts doing hand movements that I can't understand.

"No and we won't till she's ready." What are they talking about? Although I get this feeling that I don't want to know.

"Just making sure." Landon laughs as he starts the microwave.

"So Rine I was thinking that maybe in a week you'd want to take trip to Paris with me. Just for fun though." Did he say Paris? I've always wanted to explore the city. The scenery, and the amount of books they have, I would love to go. I nod my head eagerly, while thinking about all the possibilities.

"Can you be my boyfriend?" Landon jokes. "I wish someone would take me somewhere." He can take himself with all the money he makes.

"Well buddy ask one of your little whores. I'm sure they would love to take you somewhere. Since all they do is brag about how they get to have sex with you, and while you're at it tell them to stop commenting on my pictures. I have fans that are underage that don't need to know what certain parts of the male anatomy is, and what oral means. Got it?" Emma walks in the kitchen.

"You're just jealous you can't have this." This was a bad idea.

"Oh really? Let me remind you I already had that and it's not that good. My boyfriend is so much better." Emma just dropped the F-ing bomb.

"What boyfriend?" She doesn't have one Landon. You're falling in her trap.

"Zeke." She just started world war five since they've already created three and four.

"Are you (beep) joking?" I just had to pretend he said beep. I can't stand it when they curse.

"Nope and the way his hands are on my body make me feel so good." Emma please stop, before you regret it.

"I'm going to kill him." Landon pushes Emma against the wall angry.

"Dude she's joking you know Zeke wouldn't do that. They know she's against the rules." What rules?

"What rules?" Emma screams.

"Well bro look how well the rules worked for you. You're dating my sister." So I was in the rules too?

"But you know Zeke doesn't even like Emma, and plus he is scared of you." Who is this Zeke person they speak of?

"True." He says while turning back to Emma. "Just remember that you'll always belong to me." Someone's a little possessive. I watch as Landon pecks her lips then walks out the room.

"He makes me sick. He thinks he can have me and his side whores. I'll show him how wrong he can be." Just as she leaves me and Julian stare at each other just as the microwave beeps.

"Come on." Julian grabs the popcorn then walks over to me taking Tye and handing me the bag.

Once in the movie room we see Emma on one side and Landon on the other. I guess me and Julian get the middle.

"Is the movie in?" Julian asks as he sits down on the couch while putting Tye on the ground only for him to jump back on his lap.

"Yeah." Landon answers shortly.

Getting up I turn off the lights and hand the popcorn to Landon. Once I sit down the movie starts. Just five miniatures into the movie I start to doze off. As you can tell I'm an early bird.

"Come here." I hear someone whisper. "Rine." Julian pulls me closer to him laying my head on his lap as he runs his fingers in my hair. "Sleep baby." He picks up a sleeping Tye and lays him somewhere else. "Tomorrow I have something planned and then just me and you we are going somewhere over seas." I remember he said Paris.

I don't know if I'm ready to travel alone with him yet. What if he has some secret plan to kill me. He could have been acting this whole time. Next thing you knew my face is in the news again except this time I'm dead. No one knows how I died, them I turn into one of those documentaries that end with questions for years. 

"Sleep Rine." Julian kisses my head.

Maybe I over think things just a little bit.

But I have a right to.
