Adopted by One Direction

Chapter 9

Maybe Harry's idea wasn't the best. 

Harry's POV

After Lou had asked me to speak to him in private, I knew I was in trouble. The others allowed us out and when Ruby's door was shut the yelling began.

"ADOPT HER?!? You're nuts Haz. You can't look after a 16 year old. You're only 19!" Lou yelled at me.

"You know what? I don't care, anymore what you think or anyone thinks. Ruby has gone through enough in her life from her Father. It's her decision. If she wants to be my daughter she will tell me, if she doesn't it doesn't matter!" I yelled at them.

"Mate, you know what. You are right, always are. Ruby should have a new start in life and I think it should be with all of us. Let's do it together." Liam said. 

After discussing about Ruby and the adoption, we went back into her room. We saw her curled up in ball fast asleep. She is so cute when she sleeps. The boys and I went back outside and went downstairs to get some coffee.

Ruby's POV

When I heard the boys coming back into my room, I faked to be asleep. I heard what they were talking about outside. They were talking about puting Dad in jail, taking me out of here and moving into a house in the city. We would live all together. I have no idea, what to do. I want to be with them, but I what happens if Harry doesn't want me anymore, or worse Dad comes out of jail and kidnaps me.

Oh. My. God. I'm so scared.

I kept thinking about the adoption and Dad, when I heard the boys come back in.

"Ruby! We saw you were asleep so we went to get some coffee." Niall explained.

"Yeah. I heard you, I faked being asleep. I was thinking about Harry's offer to adopting me." I looked at Harry as I said it.

"And?" Liam asked.

"I would.............. love to become your daughter, but only after Dad's in jail and I'm outta here!" I told them.

Harry jumped onto me and gave me a big hug. "Love you Ruby! I promise to never hurt you in anyway like your Father did." 

"Now, let's get your Father into jail for a start. I'll go to the police station and get a police officer to come down and see you." Liam explained. 

"Alright then." I carried on. 

Liam and Harry left for the police station while Lou, Zayn, Niall and I stayed behind. 

"Let the fun begin I guess!" I laughed with the boys.

So Ruby has decided that she wants to be with Harry.
