Feelings

Drew, May and the others spent the day catching up and watching TV. At one point of the day, Drew and Ash talked in private. May couldn't help but wonder what they were talking about. She didn't bother to ask, considering Drew was her boyfriend, she thought if it were that important, he would tell her.

"So how's your Skitty? I haven't seen it for a long time, you know." Misty asked May.

"Oh, my Skitty! It's doing really well, would you like to see it?" May asked.

"Yes please!" Misty said, excitedly.

Drew sat on the couch on the other side of the room. He couldn't help but stare at May, smiling. She was so beautiful. He would do anything for her.

"Drew?" Ash waved his hand in Drew's face.

"What is it?" He said, still in a daze.

"What're you doing?" Ash laughed.

"She's... Here. I mean I'm really seeing her. After so long... I missed her, Ash." Drew looked at him.

"You love her that much, why don't you just marry her?"

"Ash..!" Drew blushed. "D-don't be ridicules! I'm only seventeen anyway..."

"Do you want to marry her?" Ash questioned. May heard this and looked at them.

"I-..." Drew couldn't get the right words out.

May came over and sat next to Drew. "What're you guys talking about?"

Drew still seemed stunned. It was like suddenly his whole world stopped making sense. "Would I? I mean I love her... Why wouldn't I?!"

"Drew?" May put a hand on his cheek.

His reaction was to back away. "Why the heck did I just do that..?" He thought to himself. "I'm fine, May. I'm just... Thinking."

"What about?" Her eyes sparkled.

"Um... I... I need some air..." Drew stood and walked away, Ash following.

Misty walked over to May. "What was that all about?"

"I don't know... Drew is acting so strange."

"You don't think it has anything to do with us, do you?" Misty wondered.

"I don't know why it would be... I mean, they aren't hiding anything from us. Right?" May looked out at the boys.

Misty looked at them too. "I hope not. I don't think Ash'd be able to keep a secret anyway..." They both laughed.

Meanwhile, the boys were talking outside on the balcony.

"Why did you freak out like that, Drew?" Ash asked.

"It's just... I-I was thinking about what you said." He paused.

"Aanndd???" Ash questioned.

"I... I don't know." Drew sighed.

"What?" Ash was confused.

"I don't know. If I..."

"If you would marry May?" Ash asked, in shock.

"Yes..!" Drew said, as if it were obvious.

"Why wouldn't you?" Ash seemed offended.

"I-I don't know! When you said that, I felt so out of place and nervous! But I don't know why..." Drew said, placing his hand on his forehead.

"You ok, dude?" Ash asked, seeing that Drew seemed so out-of-it.

"Yeah, I think I just... Need to be alone." Drew laid his head in his hands and closed his eyes.

"Okay. See ya later. I'll tell May you're not feeling well." Ash walked inside.

Drew just nodded yes and sighed. Why was this so stressful for him?..

"Why am I even giving this a second thought? I love her... Right? Why wouldn't I want to marry her..?" He sighed.
