Ciara POV
It's been kinda difficult cooperating with Nicki's schedule,it's been 2 weeks since she started it and like promised,we only get an hour of her time. I was in the mall with Onara,Onjulique,Zahir,Tyla,Daniel,and Jhené and so far we only been to one store and we couldn't find anything we wanted in there.
"So how are you and Nicki doing with the whole schedule thing?" Tyla asks
"Eh,I don't really care for it" I say
"Why?" Jhené asks
"She can't keep up with it,we only get to spend time with her 1 hour a day and a few times that didn't even happen and it's only been 2 weeks" I groan
"She always seems aggravated when I try to talk to her" I sigh
"I'm sure she doesn't mean to sound like that" Tyla says
"She's not showing a really good job at that" I say
We go into Foot Locker and I drop the discussion.
"Go get any sneaker you want,the max is 5" I say to the kids
They go off to look for sneakers and I get a text from Nayvadius.
Nay ✊🏾💙🔥: I'm getting the kids still later?
Me: Yea
"Ma we're done" Onara says
I go pay for their sneakers and we go to the food court. We order pizza and sit down at one of the tables.
"Auntie Ci can I spend a night at your house?" Daniel asks
"I'm sorry sweetie,Onji,Onara,and Zahir are going to their dad house tonight but tomorrow after school you can" I say
"Ok" He says
"Can he come over here? I don't wanna go to his house" Onji says
"Why?" I asks
"We only wanna see him" Onara says
"Why don't you like your siblings?" I ask
"I love Zahir and Onji" She smiles
"As much as that makes me happy to hear,I'm talking about your BROTHER and SISTERS" I say
"I like Aiden and Ariana,it's Jazmine I don't like,she's stuck up and always taunting me" She says
"What about you Onji?" I ask
"Same" She says
"Ok,I'll talk to him" I say
"Jazmine is not trouble" Daniel laughs
"You try having her as a sister and not a cousin,you'll see" Onara chuckles
"Onara what if she heard you saying that?" Zahir asks
"I don't care,she's not daddy,mom,ma,grandma and grandpa,or any of our aunts or uncles so I don't owe her anything,she younger than me anyway" She says
"Alright drop it" I say
We leave the mall and go back to the house,Nay gets here and the kids leave,I make a mental note to talk to him in the morning. I sit in the living room with Tyla,Daniel,and Jhené watching TV while Daniel laid next to me and I was playing with his hair.
"When does Nicki usually get back?" Jhené asks
"1 o'clock" I say
"Just try to get through it,I'm sure she'll come around" Jhené says
"Hopefully" I say
I honestly feel like this is a bad idea since the jump,I just feel like something's gonna happen.
