I'm in my room with Justine watching Twilight,it was around 3 o'clock and we just got back from church. I know that I like Justine again but I don't know how to tell her. I definitely have relationship issues after Amira but I know Justine,and she ain't like that,she was the main one warning me too.

"You ok?" She asks

"Yea" I say while snapping out of my thoughts

"You sure?" She asks

I think for a moment,why am I stalling again? I should just talk to her about it.

"Why did you care about my relationship?" I ask

"Cause I didn't wanna see you get hurt" She says

"Is that it?" I ask

She stays quiet for a while before sighing.

"Also,I guess I was kinda jealous" She says

"Why?" I chuckle

"I'm not gonna lie,I like you a lot" She says softly

My heartbeat speeds up as she says this,I wanted to do flips.

"Wow" I say

"Don't make our friendship awkward" She says

I stare at her and do something I wanted to do since 9th grade,I lean in and kiss her softly.

"That's gonna make it awkward" I laugh

"So you catching feelings again?" She asks

"To be honest" I smile

"How long?" She asks

"Since I was in the hospital" I say

"That's a while,you tryna make it official?" She asks

That's one thing I loved about Justine,she got straight to the point with everything.

"Yea" I laugh while nodding my head

She smirks and opens her arms,I wrap my arms around her waist and lay her back on the bed. She wraps her arms around my neck and I kiss her again.

"Just don't do anything to jeopardize this,please" She says

She had a boyfriend but they broke up like 7 months ago,ended bad.

"You got my word,and I ask the same for you" I say

"I gotchu" She says

"It's official then" I say

I hear a knock on the door and we sit up.

"Come in" I say

Ma comes in with a smile on her face and smiles even bigger when she looks at Justine.

"You guys are finally dating aren't you?" She asks

"Ma" I squeal

"What? I see her lipstick on your mouth,better her than that bitch you used to date" She says

I look at Justine and she has a confident smirk on her face.

"Thank you Ms. Nicki" She smiles

"You welcome Justine,me and Zahir are about to go ring shopping,you wanna come?" She asks

"We have to do that now?" I ask

I was shocked,it was still pretty early.

"Yea they bout to close" She says

"Oh" I say

"I'll go,who's it for?" Justine asks

"Tell you in the car,I can't have the person snooping" She says

We put our shoes on and leave out the house,we get in the car and start driving to the jewelry store.

"The ring is for Ciara" She says

"Ooh! This is gonna be fun" Justine smiles

"I know right!" She says

We pull up to the place and go inside,we look at all the rings.

"What about this one?" I ask as I point at it

It was silver with diamonds wrapped around the base and surrounding the big diamond in the middle.

"That's so beautiful" Justine says

"And shiny" I say

"Excuse me,can I see that ring right there?" Ma asks one of the workers

When she gets it she examines it and slowly starts to smile,it's even more better up close.

"This is the one" She smiles

I nod my head in agreement.

"Ma can I sing at the dinner?" I ask

She turns to me quickly and her eyes get wide.

"You can sing?" She smiles

"Yea,that's what I wanna do" I say

"I'll tell you what,pick a song,practice it,and show me at the dinner" She says

"Ok,I got this" I say

She smiles and I look back at the ring,I hope this works out.
