They never sing again, not a single note.
Not without their sunshine.
They don’t talk.
It’s only silence,
Always silence.
There’s no more concerts,
no more interviews.
Sometimes they sit there,
together.
But not really together.
They are missing one.
One that now is gone forever.
One that left such a big hole
that it can’t, and will not
ever be fixed.
Zayn looks at Liam,
Liam looks at Harry,
Harry looks at Louis,
and Louis looks at Zayn again.
Like that they sit,
in his apartment.
That slowly is getting emptier and emptier.
The walls getting whiter and whiter.
Cause that’s what they are doing.
Cleaning,
Cleaning out something that should have been a life.
They always have to take a break
They always have to stop the cleaning
To remember
To cry
They sit on those four stools,
or together in that couch.
There is always a left over spot,
right between Zayn and Harry.
A stool that from now on
and until forever
will always stand empty.
There being room for one more boy.
The silence continues
because nobody knows what to say.
Liam sighs
Harry blinks
Zayn stares
Louis dries a tear.
Louis was supposed to watch over the others.
His little brothers.
He is the oldest
He has failed them.
A drunk man,
everything that was needed,
to take the sunshine out of the world.
At least the sunshine for
Zayn
Liam
Harry
and Louis.
A drunk man and a car,
was everything that was needed
to ruin the worlds biggest band of teenage boys.
Young men.
They do not sing anymore,
not a single note.
It hurts to much.
And the guitar,
his guitar.
They give it to a thrift shop for free.
Maybe a young boy will buy it,
a boy with big dreams and a sunshine.
A boy who will never know that the former owner
was the sunshine for so many people.
People who now does not have their sunshine to guide them,
To show them that you can always find happiness,
reasons to laugh,
and smile
even in the darkest of times.
Their sunshine being blown out.
Like a burning candle that is one minute
burning so strong and steady.
But it only takes on blow and it’s gone forever.
