that if Rose fused with any of the crystal gems they wouldn't really have weapons, after the Great War she refused to really use weapons anymore, especially when she fused since she thought it was a way to make gems feel less alone, not to be used as a weapon.
So she made the stupidest fusion weapons that would always make Amethyst laugh.
When she fused with Pearl she weapon was an umbrella (Mycroft's sister right there m8)
When she fused with Amethyst she had a yoyo for her to play with.
And when she fused with Garnet she had a fricking full sized gong for no reasons.
