Chpater 6 - Reunited

3 Years Later

Caleb's P.O.V

My Beta rushes into my office without knocking,
"Alpha, there's a Luna and her pack on the boarder of our territory" he says out of breath.
"What pack?" I ask.
"Eclipse" My heart races, "is the Alpha there?"
"No" This isn't good,what about his sister?"
"I'm not sure but there was a passed out female Delta with the Luna"
"A female Delta"
"Yes sir"
"Lead the way" he bows his head and I follow him to the edge of the boarder. "Kelsey, are you alright where's Aidan?" I ask approaching her, the child in her hands wriggles to break free from her grasp. Cora's scent hits me, I can smell her but I can't see her. "Alpha Caleb, we were attacked by rogues, Aidan is out fighting, would you allow my pack refuge here?" Kelsey says,
"of course" I respond. One of my guards brings the passed out Delta wrapped in a towel forward and drops her on the ground. I almost die when I see who it is - Cora.
"She carried us here" Kelsey says just as her son breaks free from her grip, he runs towards Cora.
"Aunt Cora" he says shaking her slightly. I am about to pick Cora up not caring what my guards and pack members might think when the little Aidan growls a high pitched growl at me, I am slightly taken back.
"Don't touch Aunt Cora" he says,
"I'm her mate, it's okay" he looks toward his mother and she nods.
"Why was she fighting?" I ask,
"because she's the Delta" Kelsey replies,
"and why weren't you fighting Luna?"
"Because I'm pregnant" I hadn't realized how heavily pregnant she was. I sweep Cora up in my arms and lead Kelsey and her wolves into my pack. I take Cora straight to the hospital, mind linking my pack fighters to go help out in the Eclipse pack. Kelsey receives a mind link from Aidan saying that he's badly hurt. Cora's wounds get sewn up, she was bitten badly on the right shoulder, left side of the abdomen and left leg. Cora passed out because of the blood loss. She wakes up panting, "where's Aidan?" She questions, Kelsey is close to tears and hugging her child tightly,
"he's injured badly on the battlefield" she says, Cora jumps out of bed and runs towards her pack, shifting in mid air,
"go with her please" Kelsey begs, I run after Cora, by now she's already split her stitches.

Cora's P.O.V

I feel my stitches split, the pain hurts but I keep going. I finally find my brother laying unconscious, the battlefield empty. I use my nuzzle to try and wake him up but he doesn't move. Caleb comes up, he throws a shirt at me and I shift, changing at the same time. I fall to my knees crying and trying to wake my brother, I try lifting him up but he's too heavy for my injured self,
"put him on my back" Caleb says shifting back to wolf form again. A mind link from Kelsey comes through, 'don't mean to alarm you but I just went into labor' on cue Aidan's wolf wakes up and sprints towards Caleb's pack, his fatherly instinct kicking in. I shift and run after him. He makes it to the boarder and is stopped by boarder guards, he struggles to break through
"let him through" Caleb orders, Aidan shifts into human form and pulls a pair of pants on before he runs again to his mate. I shift as well wrapping a towel around me before heading to my room to change. I go back to the hospital, most of my wounds have begun to heal, but my arm is dislocated and in pain, I seek out a nurse who finds me a sling. Afterwards I go to see Kelsey, Henry is running a muck, he runs out of the hospital room,
"Henry Caleb Rivers come back here!" Kelsey yells from her hospital bed, Henry stops dead in his tracks when he comes face to face with Caleb, I run to Henry and pick him up in one hand. "Henry Caleb?" Caleb questions,
"that's his name" We sit down on the plastic chairs in the hallway.
"Cora!" I turn to see the person who called my name, it's my boyfriend Jace, the Beta. I run to him, we embrace and he kisses me deeply.

Caleb's P.O.V

Cora runs to a boy and they kiss. Judging by the amount of power he is emitting, he is a Beta. He has his hands on my mate and I struggle to keep my wolf contained. The Beta's hands lower from her waist to the bare skin on her back. I cough interrupting their make out session. She looks at me like she just realized I was there.
"Caleb this is my boyfriend and brother's Beta Jace." Boyfriend!
"Jace as in flirty Delta's son?" I question trying to keep my cool, she blushes. "That was like 3 years ago and he's a Beta now" she says trying to defend herself,
"I think its cute that you told people about me flirting with you" he says and kisses her cheek. I growl.

Cora P.O.V

The door to the hospital room opens and Aidan stands in the doorway, he looks like he's going to cry,
"it's a girl" he says happily,
"I have a little girl" he says, I hug him, "congratulations."
"What's her name?" Caleb asks, "Cordelia" my heart drops, he named her after me.
"You named her after me" I say happy tears welling in my eyes. He nods and beckons for me to come see her.
"Hello Cordelia" I say nursing her in my arms.
"I didn't know your name was Cordelia" Caleb says from next to me. "What else did you think Cora was short for" I reply. I pass her back to Aidan,
"Henry, say hello to your new baby sister, Cordelia" Aidan says showing Henry the pup. Henry's face was unforgettable, at first he looked shocked then he looked happy. He gives her a kiss on the forehead, Aidan passes the pup to its mother and crouches down to talk to Henry,
"now Henry you have to always look after your little sister, even when your old like me"
"Why?" Henry questions.
"Because your her big brother and she's your little sister that's your job"
"Do you have a little sister?"
"Yeah, Aunt Cora is"
"Aunt Cora's your little sister. Aunt Cora is daddy a good big brother?" He asks me.
"Overprotective but yes" I reply, Henry thinks about it
"Okay, I will be daddy"
"That's my little man" they high five and Aidan ruffles his hair. Henry is one grown up three year old.
