Chapter 16 - Rebels Without A Cause

Kesley and I dress up in tight dresses and skirts. We are sneaking out to go to a club, it sounds very immature of us to be sneaking out but Aidan's being overprotective and not letting Kelsey go out, this was the only option. Kelsey begins driving a pack car out of her territory, we are stopped at the pack boarder by boarder guards,
"Luna, how are you this evening?" The man asks,
"very good thank you Gus, is there a problem?"
"Ah no, just routine check Luna. Where are you two ladies going tonight?"
"We are going out for a girls night in the city, and Gus, if the Alpha comes looking for us, under no circumstances will you or any of the guards tell him where or what direction we went in understood?"
"Yes Ma'am"
"Have a good night Gus"
"You too Luna" She winds the window back up and drives off down the road.

The bright city comes into view, I gasp, the city looks so beauty during the night. I am surprised to find that the streets are still buzzing with cars at nine o'clock at night. Kelsey and I are forced to park a block away from the club, I never knew how uncomfortable and hard it is walking in high heels until tonight, my tight skirt making it even harder to walk. The wait to get into the club is even more tiresome, the line is spilling out onto the footpath and road, bright lights surround the entrances and pounding, bass dropping music can be heard through the thick metal doors leading into the club. By the time Kelsey and I reach the front it is close to 11:30. Finally the large scary bouncer let's us into the club. Inside the club there are more bright multi-coloured strobe lights flashing everywhere, the music is so loud I think I'm gone deaf and the bass is so loud and low that I can feel it beating through my chest. As soon as we enter Kelsey 'woo's' and starts dancing, dragging me onto the dance floor with her. We dance with our hands in the air, jumping and falling along with the beat that the DJ is mixing. Dancing can take a lot out a person, so Kesley and I head over to the bar, she orders me something fancy and exotic sounding. The bar tender shows off, shaking and mixing the drinks. He pours the brightly coloured cocktail in a glass, its fluorescent colour alarming.
"Go ahead drink it" Kelsey says sipping her bright blue drink. I sip the drink, it taste amazing and alcoholic. The alcohol won't affect Kelsey and I because our bodies heal to quickly, but we do know a witch who deals in this sort of stuff. She enchants alcohol for us werewolves so we can feel the actual effects of it and blend in with the drunk humans.

Caleb's P.O.V

I sit in my room watching a crappy movie on TV. Aidan comes bursting into my room without knocking. Rude,
"do you know where Cora and Kelsey are?" He asks frantic.
"They went into the city, why?" I reply slightly on edge. Aidan's expression turns to worry with a smidge of infuriation.
"I told Kelsey no"
"Why? Overprotective much" he ignores my comment.
"Because I have an ex Beta who wants to destroy me and my family and take over my pack as well as having a pack of rogues supporting him. Sorry if I don't want my mate and sister leaving without protection from either me or you"
"They took a guard"
"No they didn't, Sharon's at home with her family and the nanny was told that Kelsey and I were going out together" That pisses me off just a bit, I told her to take a guard, ah you adorable, stubborn girl.
"How did they even escape?"
"There's a tree near Cora's room which she used to climb out of, I used to get the branches cut away so she couldn't escape but after she left, I stopped and they grew back"
"Have you talked to boarder guards?"
"No, good idea. Let's go ask" I throw a shirt and shorts on and walk to the boarder with Aidan. Aidan's head boarder guard greets us,
"evening Alpha. Is there a problem?" He asks.
Yes Gus, the Luna, did she pass by here?" Aidan asks.
"Yes Alpha"
"Was she with Cora?"
"Yes Alpha, I think so"
"Where did they go?"
"I am not allowed to say Alpha" Now that move is definitely a Cora move, commanding the guard not to say anything, smart move girls.
"I am the Alpha tell me" he says in an Alpha tone.
"was told not to tell you under any circumstance sir"
"I run this pack, tell me!" Aidan is almost yelling now. The nervous guard finally breaks.
"They went into the city to a club Alpha along the northwest track. I suggest tracking the car sir"
"And how do we do that Gus?"
"All our pack cars have GPS' you should be able to track them down sir"
"Thanks you Gus, and Gus next time those two girls try to leave the boarder without guard protection, mind link me before you let them through please"
"Yes sir, I will Alpha"
"Have a good night Gus"
"You too Alpha"
Aidan and I track the cars GPS. We drive into the city and find the car parked a block away from a nearby club. Aidan and I decide to wait at the car considering we can't get a hold of them because their phones are off and they are blocking our mind links as well as the line into the club snaking around the block.

Cora's P.O.V

Kelsey and I sit and talk while drinking our drinks.
"I noticed that killer hickey your sporting there" she gestures towards my mark. I blush.
"So, your officially a Luna as well, congrats girl." I smile,
"thanks Kel" I reply.
"Do you think Aidan knows?" I question.
"Maybe, he will probably notice the scent change before he notices the mark. But you and Caleb are always together so it's difficult to tell"
"That was the plan" I play around with my straw in my cup.
"My brothers going to kill Caleb literally if he finds out he mated me in his territory"
"Wait, wait, wait. This happened after the double date?" I blush.
"Yeah" she smiles.
"Cute" we both giggle.

It nears two thirty. Kelsey and I decide to go home before the boys get too angry. When we reach our car, two, tall, masculine figures stand near our cars. I automatically freakout thinking about the worst case scenario. But as the two figures familiar faces come closer into view I freak out even more wishing that it actually had been two creepy guys we didn't know instead of my pissed of brother and slightly annoyed but mainly blasé mate. Kelsey tries to turn away taking me with her but Aidan stops her,
"where do you think you're going?" He asks like a parent reprimanding a child. "I'm sorry I just wanted to go out" Kelsey complains like a rebellious teenager.
"You said you would take a guard" Caleb says pretty blasé about the whole situation.
"Plans changed" I say calmly, Caleb just rolls his eyes heavenwards and pulls me into his chest, kissing my forehead. Aidan on the other hand is going off his head at us about how worried he was that we would get kidnapped by his evil ex Beta. Doesn't he see we don't care?
