Arranged Love...

Opening up

As I walk down the stairs and to the living room I went through all the possible discussion Noah and I may be getting ready to have and I really wasn't prepared for any of them.

I'm still young and I never saw myself getting married this early in my life, I wanted to travel,go to college, experience life before I decided to get married and grow up.

I walked into the living room where Noah and my parents were talking, they must have just gotten back.

"Hey honey, Noah said y'all got some stuff picked out, are you excited that it's finally coming together?" Mom beamed

Both of our parents seem to forget that this is all arranged and we're doing it because we have to not because we're in love.

"Releaved is more like it, do you guys mind if I steal Noah, I need to talk to him about something."

"Is everything alright baby girl?" Dad asked as worry crossed his face

"Yeah everything great, I just need to ask him something." I smiled hoping they would buy it

"Of course, you two go on." Mom smiled

I could tell Noah was annoyed with me as he stood and followed me out but we had a lot to talk about before we got married and there was no time like the present.

"Where are we going?" he asked as I led him outside

"There's a park down the street, we can talk there." I said not turning to him

"What are you mad about?" He ask as he caught up with me

"I'm not mad, I just have a lot on my mind." I shrugged

"So then what do we need to talk about?"

"A lot, let's just get to the park and we can figure things out." I said walking ahead of him

Noah walked next to me in silence giving me time to figure out what exactly we needed to figure out. The park came into view a few minutes later and we walked to a pic nic table away from the crowd that was there with their kids.

"So what's on your mind? You look like you have a lot you need to get out." He said pulling me back to reality

"I don't really know where to start..." I trailed off as I tried to get my head together

"How about from the beginning." He smiled

"I know I said something that you didn't like back there, I'm not sure what but I think there's a lot we need to work out before we get married."

"I agree, where do you want to start?" He asked surprising me 

Noah isn't really one to want to talk about feeling so the fact that he's willing to talk things through is wierd.

"I'm not sure, what did I say that you weren't happy about?"

"For starters I don't like that you don't consider this real." he said pointing between the two of us

"If we're being honest it's not, this is all happening so fast and I know we wouldn't be together if it wasn't for this arrangement, I'm not your type." I repied honestly, not sure of how he would react 

"Maybe your not like all the other girls I've dated but that's what I like about you, you're real and I know if you just stop holding back we could be good for each other." He said with sincerity in his eyes

"It's not that easy, plus you don't know anything about me how do you know we could even last?" I asked

"That's where you're wrong, I may not know about your past but I know enough about you right now that makes me believe our parents knew what they were doing."
