Arranged Love...

Beach

"Alight Bitches, lets hit the beach!" Izzy shouted as she hopped out of the car

"We should probably figure out the room situation first." Sofie suggested

"We figured that out on the drive, lets head inside and we can settle in." Vince said as we each grabbed our stuff

We finished unpacking the cars and then Vince lead us inside.

"Okay, there are three rooms down here and two upstairs, Noah and Ellie, and Izzy and Luke will take the rooms upstairs, the rest of us will be down here." Vince announced

"Do Chase and I get to share a room?" Sofie asked with hopeful eyes

"No." Noah answered with a stern expression

"Oh come on, you and Ellie are sharing a room, what's the big deal." she pouted

"Ellie and I are engaged, are you two even together." he frowned eyeing the both of them

"Yes, not that it's any of your business." she crossed her arms over her chest and glared at him

"It doesn't matter, me and Chase are rooming together because you have to room with Zoe once she gets here." Vince said putting an end to that discussion

"Alright, so lets unpack and hit the beach." Izzy grinned making her way to the stairs

I shook my head at her enthusiasm, Izzy has always loved coming to the beach so it's not really a surprise but it's still nice to see that not everything has change since I found out about this whole arrangement.

"You coming?" I turned to Noah when I realized he wasn't following me

"Are you okay with us rooming together, I know it was something you weren't comfortable with after what happened with Mel." He said when reached me in the middle of the stairs

"It's fine, we're in a good place now, I've moved past it." I shrugged walking up the rest of the way and into our room

I started unpacking my clothes and putting them in the drawers leaving my abstract cutout monokini out so I could change into it. Noah dropped his bag by the door and plopped down on the bed laying on his back with his eyes shut.

"You're not going to unpack?" I asked when I finished putting my stuff away

"Yeah, I just want to relax right now though."

"Okay, well I'm going to go change and go to the beach with Izzy." I grabbed my bathing suit and walked into the bathroom

I quickly changed, washed off the little bit of make up I had on and pulled my hair into a messy ponytail before walking back out to the room. I grabbed the sunscreen from my bag and started putting it on when I felt Noah walk up behind me.

"Need help?" He asked grabbing the sunscreen off the dresser where I had set it down

"Yeah, thanks."

He took his time rubbing the sunscreen onto the exposed skin of my back and I couldn't help but enjoy the feel of his hands on me.

"I think that's good." I said just above a whisper

"Yeah, I'll meet you guys downstairs." He replied letting his hands drop

I grabbed my sunglasses and a towel before making my way out of the room. These past couple of weeks Noah and I had gotten close to taking things too far when we're hanging out and I wasn't ready for that, I'm not sure I trust him enough to let it go that far yet.

When I got to the living room everyone was there except for Vince and Chase.

"Where's Noah?" Ryan asked when he didn't see him behind me

"He'll be down in a second, he was just changing when I came down." I plopped down on the sofa next to Izzy

"Where are Vince and Chase?"

"They went next door to get Alex and Gabe." Izzy answered

Noah came down a few seconds later and we made our way out back to the beach where Vince and Chase were already throwing a football around with Alex and Gabe.

"Took you guys long enough." Chase said when he saw us

"Hey shortie, long time no see." Alex grinned as he came and hugged me

Alex and Gabe are like brothers to me and love taking any opportunity to tease me about things.

"Hey Izzy." I heard Gabe say

Before she got with Luke her and Gabe messed around a few times but luckily things weren't awkward when they were around each other.

"You going to introduce us to your friends?" Alex asked looking over my shoulder

They were both very protective of me and although I love that I mean so much to them it kind of sucked when I was interested in someone because they would always scare them off, it was going to be fun to see how they reacted when I told them Noah and I were getting married.

"This is my fiancé Noah and his friends Asher and Ryan and his sister Sofia." I said pointing out each of them

"Did you say fiancé!?!" Gabe asked as both their eyes bugged out

"Yeah."

"When did this happen? The last time I talked to Vince you didn't even have a boyfriend." Alex glared at me

I wasn't really sure how to answer that, Noah and I hadn't introduced each other to anyone who didn't already know that it was arranged and I didn't know if I should go around telling people it was arranged or make it seem like this was all real. I looked back at Noah and it didn't look like he knew how to answer that either.

"It just happened." I answered nonchalantly

"Did he knock you up?" Gabe glared at Noah

"No! Why would you even ask that?" I asked feeling the blush creep up my neck

"You guys obviously haven't known each other that long and your engaged what do you expect?" Alex reasoned

"Look it happened, when you meet the one you just know." I shrugged

"Okay, are we just going to stand around talking or are we going to have some fun." Izzy pouted grabbing my arm and pulling me to the water

"Thanks, I don't know how much longer I would have lasted before I broke and told them it's an arranged marriage." I whispered following her deeper into the water

"Why didn't you just tell them the truth?"

"Because then it sounds like everything is fake and it's not, yeah maybe it didn't start off all that good but Noah and I are in a good place right now and I think if we can make it past the wedding and just live our lives we could make this work." I explained

We stayed at the beach just hanging out until the sunset and it felt so good to just hang out with friends and not worry about the wedding or my relationship with Noah, it was like we were a real couple on vacation with friends and it was nice to feel young and carefree again.
