Dress Shopping

****ELLIE'S P.O.V.****

Last night I sent Sof a text letting her know I was going to spend the night at my parents since it was late and mom wasn't too keen on me driving home alone so late. 

"Sweetie are you up?" Mom knocked before opening the door to peek in 

"Morning." I smiled before frowning at my phone 

"Still no word from Noah?" 

"No, I just hope he's okay." I sighed sitting up while she came to sit next to me 

"I'm sure he's just trying to work things out." She assured me 

"You're probably right, I just wish he would text me or something so I know he's okay." 

"I'm sure he will soon, why don't you go get ready so we don't keep Sofi waiting." She said standing up and kissing the top of my head

"Okay." I nodded getting out of bed and stretching 

Sofi reminded me to talk to mom about my wedding dress and see if she thought it would still fit, mom suggested we go looking at dresses again today to see what we could find on such short notice just in case it doesn't fit or I decide I need to change out of it after the ceremony. 

I really wasn't feeling up for shopping, I don't know if it was because I was almost twelve weeks pregnant or if it was just psychological but today I felt exhausted and I had just woke up, I didn't even want to think about how I would be feeling as the day progressed. 

I grabbed a grey spandex cami tank, black v-neck cardigan and straight crop jeans,  I laid the clothes out on the bed while I went to the bathroom to take care of business and wash  up.  I brushed my hair out and threw it up into a top knot then went to grab my makeup bag from my purse and put on some eyeliner, mascara and clear lip gloss then went to get changed.  

"Are you almost ready?" Mom asked popping her head into my room 

"Ready." I nodded slipping on my sperrys and grabbing my phone and purse 

I followed her downstairs and went to grab a water while she went to grab her purse from the living room, we were going to meet Sofi at a restaurant down the street then go to a bridal store half an hour away to see if I could find a new dress. 

"Hey Mrs. Alvarez." Sofi greeted mom when we got to the booth she was seated at 

"Hi Sofi, how have you been?" Mom smiled sliding into the seat opposite her 

I sluggishly slid in next to her resting my head on her shoulder and letting my eyes close while they talked. 

"You okay El?" Sof asked, I could hear the worry in her voice and I really just wished everyone would stop asking me that

"I'm fine, just tired." I sighed opening my eyes 

"Just making sure." She frowned noticing my mood 

"Making a baby takes a lot out of you, you'll probably feel like this for the next six months." Mom explained 

"Yup, I guess I should get used to it." I frowned 

"Hello, my name is Henry and I'll be your waiter today, what can I get you lady's to drink?" He asked giving us a heart stopping smile 

"I'll have apple juice." I replied since no one else said anything 

"I'll take orange juice." Sofie ordered 

"I'll have coffee, can you bring me a glass of water as well please." mom smiled
