Arranged Love...

Will You?

"Ugh" I groan rolling over so the sun doesn't hit my face 

"Morning sleeping beauty." Noah chuckles as I snuggle my face into his chest 

"What time is it?" I mumble against him 

"Almost one." He replies 

I rest my head on his chest peeking one eye open to see if he's serious and find him wide awake with his arms behind his head while he looks at me with a smile. 

"Seriously? Why is it so quiet?" 

" I don't know, I think everyone is downstairs." He shrugged 

"Well I'm gonna go shower, everyone is probably about ready to leave." I said giving him a quick kiss before grabbing his shirt off the floor and throwing it on 

"Don't take forever!" He called right before the door closed behind me 

I laughed knowing that I probably would end up taking my time, I liked to let the water run over me and take away anything I'm stressing over away, even if it is just for a little while. I got the water going waiting for it to be just right before pulling off Noah's shirt and stepping in, I closed my eyes and let the warm water run over me until I felt relaxed. 

When I stepped out of the bathroom I expected to find a very annoyed Noah waiting for me to come out since I took a while, but the room was empty so I went to grab my undergarments along with a pair of short white shorts and a black and white chevron style tie blouse and quickly getting dressed, I had just put on a pair of black flats when Noah walked through the door looking showered and dressed in clean clothes. 

"I took a shower downstairs, everyone wants to go grab a bite to eat at some diner down the street." He explained when he saw me eyeing him 

"Ooh Lana's?" I asked while brushing out my hair then spraying it to help bring out my natural waves 

"Yeah, I'm guessing you guys go there whenever you're here?" He asked putting his shoes on 

"Yup, the food is amazing and the apple pie is to die for." I grinned 

"I think anything will taste amazing right now, I'm starving." He stood up from the bed and walked over to me resting his head on my shoulder while I put on a little bit of makeup 

"Well, lets not keep everyone waiting." I smiled at him through the mirror as I finished up and turned to face him 

Instead of saying anything he bent his head so his lips met mine catching me by surprise, but it didn't last long and soon my arms were around his neck and my fingers working there way through the back of his hair. 

He smiled as he pulled away from me keeping his eyes closed and rested his forehead against mine. 

"I love you." He said barely above a whisper 

"I know." I smiled causing him to open his eyes and pull back a little 

Noah and I had already talked about this so I knew that although he might be a bit disappointed I hadn't said it back he wasn't angry. After what happened a few months ago with Melissa I wanted to take things so and mean everything I say and not just say it because I was in the moment or I felt obligated to, I'm not saying I don't love Noah I just think I need a little more time to be able to say it out loud. 

"One day." Noah mumble taking my hand and heading for the door 

"You know how much you mean to me, I just want to be able to say if first so I don't feel like I'm just saying it because I feel like I have to." I sighed following him down the stairs
