"Noah, Sweetheart, it's so good to have you home." Lisa grinned pulling him into a hug as soon as we walked through the door
"Hey mom." He kissed her cheek
"Mommy!!" Sofia shrieked pushing Noah out of the way
"Baby!" She embraced her while Noah and I chuckled
"Oh and don't think I didn't see you standing there, come here sweetheart." She smiled pulling me into a hug
"Stop hogging my grandchildren and let me see them." A graceful older woman walked over to us and embraced Noah
"Grandma what are you doing here?" Noah asked sounding surprised
"Your mom thought it was about time your grandparents meet this girl you're marrying in a few month." She pulled back looking over me with a critical eye
"Did you say grandparents, as in plural?" He asked taking my hand and pulling me to him
"Yes I did, now, are you going to introduce me to your lovely fiancée?"
I tightened my hold on Noah's hand as she looked me up and down, I know how close I am with my grandparents and if Noah is anything like us I'm going to need this woman's approval.
"Of course, grandma this is Eliana, baby this is my grandma Maria."
"Hello Eliana, how old are you? You look too young to be ready for marriage." She frowned
"I'm eighteen."
"Are you sure you're ready for this kind of commitment?" She questioned raising a perfect eyebrow
"Grandma please stop scaring her, we're ready for this, I promise." Noah said before I could answer
"What is everyone doing just standing there, there's people dying to see you in here." An older man looking a lot like Noah walked towards us with a huge smile
"Hey gramps." Noah smiled giving him a quick hug before they pulled away and Sofi replaced him
"It's good to see everyone, now lets not keep everyone else waiting." He said keeping his arm around Sofi as he lead us into the living room where Noah's father sat with another older couple
"I don't think your grandma likes me very much." I whispered to Noah as we entered the room
He chuckled "She's a little protective, she just needs to get to know you and she'll love you just as much as I do." He said putting his arm around me
"I'm sure." I grumbled
Before he could reply I was taken by surprise and pulled into a warm embrace causing everyone to chuckle and Noah to let go of me.
"Baby this is my grandma Carla." Noah said once she let me go
"Hi, it's really nice to meet you." I smiled as he wrapped his arm around my waist hugging her with his free arm and kissing her cheek
"You did good boy, you really know how to pick them." A man said hugging Noah
"Grandpa this is Ellie, this is my grandpa Mateo." He introduced us
"You can just call me grandpa." He smiled hugging me
"Sounds good." I nodded
"And I'm his favorite grandpa Manuel." the man from earlier said this with a smile
"It's nice to meet everyone." I smiled not really sure what else to say
" Why don't you all sit down and I'll go check on dinner." Lisa said walking out
