Hey Guys!!! I am SOOOOO sorry I haven't updated in so long, I've been so busy with the family and stuff that I haven't had time to put anything up but I promise I won't make you wait so long anymore, it isn't much but I wanted to get something up so you have something to keep you up to date with where the story is going. Okay, so here it is. :)
"Babe are you almost ready?!?" Noah called from the living room
"Yes! Geez I'll be done in a minute!" I called back rolling my eyes in the process
We were getting ready to leave for the charity event thing his mom had organized and if we didn't leave the next five minute we would end up getting there late.
"Babe! Seriously we have to go!" Noah said just as I walked out of the room
"I'm ready, lets go." I said walking out and getting my first look at him in his tuxedo
"You look gorgeous." He said walking over to me and giving me a soft kiss
"Thanks, you don't look to bad yourself." I smiled once he pulled away
That was actually an understatement, Noah looks good in just about anything but Noah in a tuxedo is beyond handsome.
"Thanks." he chuckled as he grabbed my coat and help me into
He took my hand in his entwining our fingers and lead me out of the apartment.
"So what exactly is this event for?" I asked once we were almost there
"I'm not too sure, mom puts together a lot of these things and has the family show up and donate whatever we can." He explained
"So how long do we have to stay?" I asked looking over at him
"We haven't even got there and you're already thinking about leaving?" He chuckled looking over at me
"I was just wondering, now keep your eyes on the road." I ordered
"If you're bored we don't have to stay long, but mom usually does a good job at making these things not to bad."
"Okay." I nodded checking my make up as we pulled up to the place
"SURPRISE!" Everyone shouted as soon and Noah and I walked through the doors
I jumped back into Noah putting my hand over my heart while Noah looked around trying to figure out what was going on.
"Ellie! Noah!" Noah's mom called as she made her way over to us
"Mom, what's going on?" Noah asked
"Well since you two are officially engaged and we're not having the wedding her I thought I'd throw you guys an engagement party." She said with a smile lighting up her face
"Oh wow, thank you but this really wasn't necessary." I said looking around
Everything was so extravagant and not me at all but it was beautiful and I seriously appreciated all the work she put into this, it must have taking a while.
"Oh don't be silly, I love doing things like this." He said giving us each a hug
"So who are all these people?" Noah asked looking around at everyone who had now gone back to their own conversations
"Well most of them are people dad knows from work but Ellie's parents and brother are here along with all your friends." She smiled as she pointed everyone out
There were so many people here that I didn't know and it was kind of uncomfortable and made me extremely happy that we decided to have a small wedding back home instead of something this extravagant.
"You guys need to go mingle and thank everyone for coming." She said pulling me out of my thoughts
"Sounds good." Noah nodded taking my had and pulling us towards my parents
"Mr. and Mrs. Alvarez is so good to see you." Noah smiled as we approached them
"Sweetheart you look beautiful." Mom smiled pulling me into a hug
"Thanks, so do you." I said hugging her back
"Hey baby." Dad grinned as I hugged him after him and Noah shook hands
"So when did you guys get here." I asked once we had said our hello's
"Just a few hours ago, but were thinking about staying for a few day just for fun." Mom grinned with an excited glint in her eye
"That sounds like a great idea, you guys need some time away just the two of you." I smiled
We stayed there talking with my parents for a few more minutes before they saw some people they knew and excused themselves.
"So what do you think?" Noah asked putting his arm around me and leading me to our friends
"It's beautiful, your mom did an amazing job, did you know about all this?"
"No, but I should have figured something was up when I found out my grandparents were all in town." He shrugged
"Ellie!" Izzy called running over to me and pulling me into a hug
"Can't breathe" I squeaked out
Izzy maybe be skinny but the girl is strong.
"Sorry." she giggled letting me go
"You guys look beautiful." I said looking at all the girls
They all had navy dresses on that suited their body's and personalities perfectly while the guys were all dresses in suites.
"You look amazing El." Zoe smiled giving me a quick hug
"Thanks, but Sofi picked the dress, she has an amazing eye for fashion." I shrugged
"Oh stop." she said acting modest
"Whatever you know you love getting the praise." Noah laughed
I stayed there talking with the girls while Noah and the rest of the guys went to get us all drinks.
"So I hate to ruin your night but I thought I should warn you that Melissa's here and I have a filling she's up to something." Sofi said
"Why is she here, doesn't she have anything better to do that mess with me?" I groaned
"Obviously not." Izzy frowned pointing over at Melissa who was headed straight for Noah
"Stay here, lets see what he does." Zoe suggested putting her hand on my shoulder so I wouldn't get up
"I wasn't planning on going over there, I trust Noah." I shrugged turning away from them
A few minutes all the guys came back with the drink except for Noah.
"Where's Noah?" I asked Ryan once I had scanned the room and didn't find him anywhere
"Umm I'm not sure." He shrugged before going back to his conversation with Izzy and Chase
I tried not to think to much of it but I had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach that usually meant something bad was coming my way.
"Don't worry about it, I'm sure everything is fine." Sofi whispered so only I could hear
I nodded my head in agreement turning my attention back to my friends but I couldn't stop my mind from thinking the worst. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't lying when I said I trust Noah because I do, it's Melissa I don't trust.
