Meeting New Friends

Instead of eating my lunch, I have to show Natsu around the school. If only Levy was here, then I wouldn't feel so nervous. I've never felt so nervous before. Levy is my best friend, and when I'm with her, I feel safe and I can be my true self.

Right now, I'm showing Natsu the science room.

" And here is the Science room a- " I explained, as I slipped and he caught me. " Lucy! Are you okay?! " He asked. " Y-Yeah, I-I'm fine. " I replied, shyly. 

He helped me get up. I brushed off the dirt on my skirt. I put my hands behind my back as I walked a few steps to the door. I turned around, I smiled at Natsu and said, " Well, I guess that ends our tour, Natsu. "

" Yeah, thanks. Let's go back to class and get our lunches. " He replied as he ran out of the class room. I walked out of the science room and I closed the door behind me. I put my hands behind me and I followed Natsu. When I got to class, everyone was still there. I walked over to my desk and grabbed my lunch bag.

" Natsu, you wanna eat with me on the school's roof? " I asked.

" Sure! " He said, smiling.

Then we headed up to the school's roof. Then we both sat down next to each other eating our lunches. Then Erza, Mirajane, Juvia, Gray and Jellal came up to us. " Hey Lucy! It seems you are getting along with the new transfer student. Hey! My name is, Erza, Erza Scarlet. Nice to meet ya! " Erza greeted, smiling at Natsu and then everyone else greeted themselves nicely except for Gray... " And my name is, Gray Fullbuster! Don't get in my way, fire breath! " Gray yelled.

" Did you just call me, Fire Breath?! " Natsu asked.

" Yeah and what are you gonna do about it?! " Gray asked.

" Gray and Natsu, please stop fighting. It's our first day back. Let's have fun and celebrate! Plus, today has nice weather!" Mirajane said, with a big smile on her face.

" Okay, fine! " Natsu yelled, sitting back down beside me.

" So what's your name? " Erza asked.

" You forgot already?! My name is Natsu Dragneel! " He said.

" Hi! " Mirajane said, smiling.

" Can we eat lunch with you guys? " Erza asked us.

" Sure, why not?! " I said, as they all sat next to us.

" So tell us something about you Natsu. " Jellal said.

" Well, I get good grades, my family is really rich, I have a little sister named, Wendy, and I'm really good at sports. I really wanna join the basket ball team. " Natsu said.

" Wow, your story is very similar to Lucy's. " Juvia said.

" Really? " Natsu asked.

" Well, it's true. I'm rich, I get good grades, I'm good at everything and I'm on only child. " I said.

" Oh, so I guess were alike then! " Natsu said, with a big smile on his face. I smiled. " Say Erza, don't you have a class rep meeting? " Mirajane asked Erza.

" Oh, no. Maybe your just hearing things! Ha! " Then she got up, grabbed her lunch and ran out the door.

Finally, the bell rang.
