I spent the weekend near Peter and Carlisle and wouldn't speak to Jasper because I didn't want to make things worse. It's Monday and I have to go to work but at the last minute had a text message from Lucifer.

Hey Jared,

It was really cool meeting your family last week and I was wondering if you'd like to meet mine today after work. Mom and Dad have heard so much about you.

From your boy
Lucifer ;)

So yeah, I guess I'm going. I walk downstairs, it's just gone nine o' clock. Carlisle is off to work as usual. "Hey Grandad," I call and unbelievably answers. "Yes granddaughter? What can I do for you?" He smiles.
"If Jasper asks, can you tell him I'll be at Lucifer's house after work today." I ask.
"I'll tell him, Jared, but I think you should speak to him sooner or later. He feels really guilty about Thursday." He kisses my head and leaves.

Work goes by pretty quickly and before I know it, we're in Lucifer's car, on the way to meet his parents. "Did you say you had siblings, bro?" I ask him. "A brother and sister." He smiles. "Remember their names?" He smirks. "Hmmm, Lee-Roy??" I ask.

"Yes. And?" He asks, pulling into the drive.
"Can't remember your sister's name." I admit, just as she comes around and throws herself at Lucifer. "Lucie!" She squeals and Lucifer rolls his eyes at me. I smirk. She looks at him and kisses his mouth. "I missed you." She holds him tight and Lucifer rotates her so they're facing me. "Jared, this is Reeve." We exchange pleasetomeetyous and then I get a first look at the house. Black and gothic.

"This is an amazing house," I look in awe at it, it's something you'd see in a horror story. A big black, spooky house but still beautiful. I look back to Lucifer and find Reeve staring at me. She looks down nervously and blushes. We head inside where there is a huge living room. Dark with gothic furniture and a black staircase with all sorts of patterns. Reeve sits on a sofa looking at me. I take in her appearance.

Black hair, just about reaching her shoulders. Black blouse with dark red sleeves and stripy red and black jeans. And pale, pale skin. Her eyes seem almost black and she keeps them focussed on me. "Jared!" A cheerful voice calls and I turn to see a middle aged but pretty woman coming down the stairs.

She looks like a more realistic version of Morticia from The Addams Family. "I'm Nevina. How are you?" She asks, pulling me into a hug. I hold my breath, suddenly feeling thirsty. I step back and smile. "I'm great, it's lovely to meet you at last." I say politely. "Oh I know, it's about time." She agrees. Her and Aimie may have a bit of an age gap but they certainly look like sisters.

"Now if you'd excuse me, I have to see to dinner." She places her hand lightly on my arm and heads towards what should be the kitchen. "Reeve, come and help!" She calls and reluctantly, after another long look at me, Reeve follows.

"Don't mind her, she's weird." Lucifer smirks and I follow him upstairs. "How old is she?" I ask. "Fourteen. I think she has a little crush on you." He admits.
"Really? That's a big compliment for someone like me." I smile and we head upstairs.
