First Day With My New And Only Friends

I groan as my cellphone rings for another day of school, and the worst part is that I start early morning classes today. I regret signing up for those classes, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Even if that means waking up at freaking six in the morning to go to school. I blindly reach for my cellphone, and turn it off. I sit up as I abruptly take the cover off of me. Tossing it aside.

"Hey!" I jump awake at the sound of two displeased voices. I'm still half asleep, so I have no idea what's going on. I throw away my blanket, and that's when I remember Kaname and Zero.

"Uh oh! I'm so sorry!" I apologize to the two nekos I accidentally woke up. I put my hands together to show my guilt.

"It's okay." Kaname says with a smile. Ah, I can always count on this sweet little neko.

"Can't you see some of us are trying to sleep?" Zero says on the other side of me. I frown at him, but he's still cute.

"I said I was sorry, cranky pants." He doesn't say anything more, and puts his own covers back over him. I sigh, and make my way off my bed.

"Where are you going?" Kaname questions me. I blink, and look back at him.

"I'm getting ready for school." I tell him with a smile.

"Can I go?" I look at him surprised.

"I don't know if they'll let you go to school again. You saw how people watched you guys the whole time we were there." I remind them the first time I took them to school. Then again they probably are immediately thinking robot!

"Please?" Damn. He's so cute. I thought I was immune to cute, but apparently I was dead wrong. Then again I've never been face to face with a neko and well the only cute I fall for are babies. They can't talk though, so they don't get anything out of me. But these two can talk so... I give in.

I walk upstairs to my locker, and the people I pass by either go silent, stare, gasp, or whisper to each other. I'm already weird enough, and I don't like attention, but apparently I'm getting it with these two. I brought Kaname and even Zero with me. He didn't say anything! He just tagged along. I just hope nothing happens to them while I'm in gym. Three classes in one gym. Ugh. What a drag! At least it's early morning, so I don't have to worry about doing too much working out.

"What class are you going to that you didn't change out of those clothes?" Kaname asks as he drives me out of my thoughts.

"Oh. I don't like a lot of changing to do in the morning, so I sleep with my Physical Education clothes on. It sucks, but that's how lazy I am. Not the sweaty ones though. " I say smiling down at him.

"While you two wait for me I guess you can sit on the bleachers. Or hide behind them, whatever you're comfortable with." I tell them. There's no way I could take them to the locker room with me. Other girls do change in there.

"Okay." Kaname says agreeing. I set the two of them down and point them towards the bleachers. They're not opened all the way, just enough to get out three rows.

I smile down at him, and head down the steps to the girls locker room to put away my clothes that I'm going to wear for the day. Hold on, what am I going to do about the curious people?! They might want to grab them. Oh my gosh! What was I thinking when I brought them with me?! Here's the answer: I wasn't thinking! Damn me and my recklessness, and all this negative stuff I'd rather not talk about.

"What's with you?" Zero questions me as I realize that I had stopped walking.

"I'm trying to figure out what to do. I can't let you guys in the girls locker room, and I'm afraid to leave you guys out here by yourself. What if someone hurts you two?" I say putting my hands to my cheeks.
