There is a saying, 'Eyes are the windows to the soul.' It means, mostly, people can see through someone else by eye contact in seven seconds. I have a habit that if I meet someone I don't know, I'd like to look at her or his eyes on purpose. When my eyes lay on them, I can immediately see their true color. -Peng Liyuan

Zee Banks...

I enter Starbucks, standing in line behind a gentlemen. He's next in line, and I'm kind of in a hurry to just get me a Frappé so I can meet my woes at the mall. I draw attention to myself, smacking my lips as I look through my purse for my wallet. It's right on top by the way.

"Oh come on." I whine, pretending to look through my things.

"You ok?" He questions. I avert my attention to him, putting my frames on my forehead. He's about, 6'3" to my 5'2" frame. Not bad looking but I'm just trying to get up to the counter.

"Yea, I'm just trying to find my wallet because I'm kind of in a hurry. I just wanna have my stuff ready when I need to pay."

"Well you can go ahead. I'm still undecided of what I want." He chuckles, I laugh leaning my weight to my right hip.

"Really?"

"Yea go ahead." I giggle and thank him going right up to the counter. I could feel his eyes dancing upon my body doe. Taj the clerk hands me my usual. I come here often and when ever I come in, he already has my stuff ready for me. A carmel frap with a scone.

"Thank you Taj." I hand him the exact amount, grabbing my things.

"You're welcome. Did you think about the answer to the question I asked?" He smirks. I laugh and nod walking to the door.

"So what's the answer Zee!" He calls after me. I shake my head laughing, putting my shades back on my face.

"Neveruary." I mumble, leaving out. Taj asked to take me out on a date a month ago, and me being the person that I am I told him I'd think about it. Ever since then he kept bugging me about it. My answer was always no but today I thought I switch up.

I get in my car, sitting my stuff down as my phone rings. It's a call from Bricks, so I answer it.

"Where you at?" I roll my eyes, pulling off.

"I'm on my way to the mall Bricks. What do you want?" I mumble, turning onto the drive.

"My lunch break is in like 30." I sigh clenching my thighs tight while biting my bottom lip. No matter how much I try to fight it, I always get the urge but Ima fight it today. I need some space from Bricks right now.

"I'm not coming to your job yo." I tell him.

"Well can you come over tonight. I just wanna spend some time witchu."

"Bricks I-."

"Or I'll come to your place, I just wanna watch a movie and chill like old times. No sex." I sigh in frustration knowing damn well I'm about to give in. I don't know why I can't say no to this man.

"Fine. Come by around eight." I hang up the phone just to be petty like his rude ass is to me. Now he said just a movie and chill like old times so that's what we're gonna do. Nothing more. And if he tries to pull some slick shit, I'm kicking his ass out. No I'm not.

"Ard bitch you done?! We been waiting for the next outfit for like an hour." My friend Ryan over dramatically groans. I roll my eyes, checking the fit out in the mirror.
