Ch.24

LJs pov

I get out of the hospital and get home. When I get home Josh and Ethan had gotten home a day before Sam mom and I. I walk into my room and Ethan was laying on my bed.

I drop my stuff on the floor trying to be quite. I wasn't that quite I guess because he woke up as soon as I was going to walk out.

"Oh hey your home." He says with that hot sexy morning voice.

"Yeah I just got back. I wanted to drop off my stuff in here you can go back to sleep." I say about to leave

He jumps up and goes to the door. "No it's ok. I want to talk to you." He says

"Ethan." I start to say

"No not about us. About that we got my room done. I won't be sleeping in your room anymore." He says

"Oh ok so." I say

"I was in your bed sleeping because my bed isn't here yet." He says I guess so I won't be mad

"Oh it's ok. Well I guess I can start sleeping naked again." I say with a little laugh

"I guess so." He says but with no laugh.

"Okay. Um well mom has lunch if you want some." I say and he nods with a monotone face.

We head downstairs and I start to get light headed. I don't say anything and Shake it off. I go to the kitchen and I see Dillon.

"What are you doing here?" I ask mad

"I told him to come. I wanted to talk to him about some stuff." My mom says stopping me from going after him.

"Fine but I don't want to be anywhere near him, and three days ago you didn't either." I say angry and go back upstairs.

I climb out my window and drive to Mason's house. I get there and knock on the door.

"LJ. LJ are you ok?" He asks and try's to hug me.

"Get the hell off me. I know you work for my dad." I say and he looks scared.

"LJ I'm sorry." He says and I interrupt him.

"No you hid this from me. I won't want anything to do with you." I say and run off into my car and drive off.

I get home and climb back up in my window. I lay on my bed and cry until I fall asleep.

The next morning

I wake up and I just hate everything. I get up and I Put on my black tank top and jeans with some extra stuff. (Picture above)

I put on mascara and black eyeliner. I straighten my hair and head downstairs.

"What are you wearing!" Josh asks

"Clothes. What about you?" I say sassy

"Well there is to much boob coming out of that shirt." He says

"Whatever I'm heading to school. Bye."  I say and walk out the door.

I get to school and every guy is staring at me. I walk over to Mason's locker where he is.

"Hey Mason." I say leaning on the locker.

"Um hey LJ you look great." He says staring

"Well I wanted to say I was sorry. I shouldn't be mad at you but my dad. You were trying to be helpful. How can I ever repay you?" I ask so sweetly

"Um are you ok?" He asks

"Yeah I just want to repay you." I say

"Well I would love a date with you?" He asks

"I guess that works but if you want something else just tell me." I say and kiss his cheek.

I walk to my first class and  no one was in there. I sit done and as soon as I do everyone comes in.

Everyone stares at me and I just keep looking at my phone. As the teacher walks in so does Andrew. He sits next to me. Then comes Ethan.

Andrew moves to his seat and Ethan sits in his seat next to me. He looks at me and just turns away.

"Do you have a problem?" I ask him

"No I was just looking at what you were wearing." He says

"Ok well do look to much." I say and turn around.

After class was over second block went by fast and then it was third block. I walk into third and Josh, Sam, and Ethan were all sitting down talking.

I walk over to them and sit down.

"Hey you look cute today." Sam tells me

"Thanks I thought I would do something different." I say

"Yeah she sure does look different." Josh says under his breath.

"I can still hear you dumbass." I say

"Shut up. You came to school looking like a slut. Don't even act like you weren't flirting with mason this morning even though he was dads little minion." He says getting mad

"That man is not my fucking dad. He is nothing to me, and Mason apologized to me." I yell at him and then I calm back down when the teacher came in.

"Okay everyone today write a story of how you have had a hard time in life." He says

I raise my hand he looks at me.

"Also write how it has changed you. Now write. Miss Jackson put your hand down." He says and sits down.

I start to write my paper and I get into it.

My name is LJ. I have cancer. It has effected me in many ways but shit happens. The bad thing is my dad showed up..........

I get so into my paper I don't notice that the bell rang for lunch.

"LJ you going to lunch?" Sam asks me

"Oh yeah." I say putting my pencil down

"Wow in the last 20 minutes you wrote a lot." She comments

"Oh well I'm really into it." I say and we go to lunch.

After lunch school seemed to go by fast. After it was over I hoped in my car and drove until I got to the movie theater. I got out and walked up to the ticket booth. There he was. I walk over to him. I just stare at him and he does the same.

After a minute of staring we hug and don't stop hugging.

"Does anyone know we're meeting?" He asks

"No. I left school as soon as I could. I have missed you. I haven't seen you in years. Where were you?" I look at him

"I'm sorry but you look even more beautiful." He says and then kisses me.
