"May I?" Matt asked, putting a hand on Davide's shoulder as he danced with Vada.

Davide frowned- people hadn't stopped cutting in all night. It was HIS wedding night, damn it. Why didn't anyone let him enjoy it? With a sigh and a fake smile, he nodded.

"Of course." He said, turning to walk away and find himself a new partner.

Vada giggled, watching as Davide sulkily went to go ask her mother to dance- a request Nora accepted happily... Brian maybe not so happily.

"He's the possessive sort. Watch out for that." Matt said with a grin, turning to dance with Vada.

"He and I haven't gotten much time together all night." Vada said.

"Well, the real price of a wedding is putting up with everyone you invited." Matt said, spinning her before bringing her back in.

"Mom and Viviana really went all out, didn't they?" Vada asked, looking at how packed it was.

"They did. I almost felt sorry for Bobby- they had her running around like crazy, it's not even her job." Matt said. Vada sighed.

"I know but she was such a doll about it- she volunteered for most of it. It would have been so much easier if they had hired a wedding planner." Vada said.

"And deny them the pleasure? Ha!" Matt said with a chuckle.

"And so? What do you think?" Vada said.

"I think your mother in law took the princess thing too seriously." Matt said, making her laugh.

"Really? Is that your way of telling me I look like a princess?" Vada said with a grin. Matt winked.

"Now that you said it, I don't have to." He said. "Are you happy?"

"I'm ecstatic. I couldn't imagine being happier." Vada said.

"I'm glad- I really am. I want you to be happy." He said.

"You know, I know he wasn't your first choice for me but he's really perfect." She said. "I'm crazy about him."

"Well, I can't say I understand, marriage as it is is an enigma to me." Matt said.

"Well one day the person you least expect will sweep you off your feet when you least expect it." Vada said, making Matt chuckle.

"Oh I hope not."

"Monday morning people, let's go!" Nick sent the email that had everyone standing and heading to the large meeting room.

Every first Monday of the month, exactly at 9am, the entire 6th floor staff invaded the meeting room for the monthly update. Staff on the other floors crowded into their meeting rooms and the staff still working from Lida dialed in.

It was the one time a month when the entire Lida and Volstack team came together.

Of course, the first person in that room every single time was Bobby, who set up the Go To Meeting for everyone else to join and turned on the projector. So when did this tradition begin?
