There's alot of P.O.V. switches so yeah.

Hazel's P.O.V.

The next morning I woke up to Astoria pushing at my shoulder. I spent most of the night crying and got only a few hours of sleep.

"Do you wanna just stay here?" She asked gently

I sat up and shook my head rubbing my eyes. I stood up, making the bed creak and walked into the bathroom. My reflection looked horrendous. There were deep bags under my eyes and my makeup was smudged from all the crying. I washed my face and Astoria helped put on my makeup to conceal my face of sadness. Together we walked to the Great Hall for breakfast. I forced a smile onto my face as we sat opposite with each other. My back was towards the Hufflepuff table as I stared down at my food. Astoria kept looking from me to behind me.

"I'm overreacting," I muttered.

"Oh hell no!" Astoria shouted for everyone to hear. The people who were already in the Great Hall looked her way.

"SHHH!" I exclaimed putting a hand up.

"He cheated on you for Chang! I'm not going to shh!" She yelled in a whisper.

I sighed. "I guess I'm just not good enough for him."

This time, Astoria's hand went up to shush me. "Don't ever say you're not good enough for someone. If he can't see how amazing you are then he is the one who's not good enough for you."

"But-" I protested.

"Hush. Yes, he might have walked out of your life but there is no use wasting your time on people that leave you. What you make of yourself and your future is no longer up to him. Yes, you might miss him but remember, you weren't the one who gave up."

I shrugged. It was a good response. I slowly picked up my toast and put it in between my teeth. My teeth dug into the bread and ripped off a piece, chewing leisurely. It tasted like parcel paper in my mouth. I struggled to swallow. Astoria's eyes were glued to something behind me. Most likely Cedric.

"He hasn't taken his eyes off you since we entered the Great Hall." Astoria whispered craning her neck for a better look.

My eyes furrowed and I looked at my bandaged hand. It was red from my bleeding and badly needed to be changed. And quickly. I stood up abruptly and walked swiftly to the Head Table with my arm in my hand. I approached Madam Pomfrey and she looked at my wrist and her eyes went wide. With a flick of her wand the wrap around my hand unravelled exposing my deep cuts into my flesh. The room went silent as Madam Pomfrey put on a clean wrap to cover the wound.

When she finished, mutters and whispers were heard around the room. I forced a small smile in thanks and walked back to Astoria who was glaring at someone who I was 99.99999% sure was Cedric.

"Let's go." I said pulling at her arms gently as I pulled my bag onto my shoulder.

"I just gotta do something." She said quickly before walking off at a speeding pace.

I followed her gaze to Cedric who was staring at her with wide eyes. She was charging right at him. Before I could say anything to stop the following scenario, Astoria pulled her arm back.

*BAM!*

Astoria punched Cedric hard in the nose. My hands went to my stomach. I felt like vomiting. Cedric flinched in pain but didn't say anything.

"Episkey" he muttered pointing his wand at his broken nose to heal it.

He stood up and shuffled out of the Great Hall glancing at me before he left. The gazes went from him to me. I reajusted my bag on my shoulder and motioned Astoria to follow me. We walked out and into an empty corridor, not knowing we were being followed.
