Slowly but surely, Hogwarts began to take its toll downhill. Educational decrees were put up by the entrance to the Great Hall. One day, as I was passing to go to Lunch, I noticed Filch, hammering something into the wall. I stood behind him as he finished and moved out of the way, read the sign.

Soon, this spread to the press, as the Daily Prophet staff came to Hogwarts to take pictures of Umbridge in front of the clock tower. Interviews asking questions such as, "What's happened to Dumbledore?" as the cameras flashed around the sour lady.
The next issue of the Daily Prophet told the story. The front page of the newspaper had the large heading stating:
MINISTRY SEEKS EDUCATIONAL REFORM
NEW ERA DAWNS AT HOGWARTS
Inside the paper had other articles that corresponded with Umbridge's new position and the Ministry's actions.
PARENTS ENDORSE MINISTRY MOVE
And
MINISTER FUDGE PUTS EDUCATION IN THE FRONT LINE
The articles' stories were no better. Fudge stated that "Having already revolutionized the teaching of Defense Against the Dark Arts, Dolores Umbridge will, as high inquisitor, have powers to address the seriously falling standards at Hogwarts School."
The action that took place as Umbridge ruled the school made us all miserable. Her pink shoes made the familiar click as she walked, making us all want to flee as we heard the sound approaching. She went around the school with a clipboard in hand and wand out, to fix all the details about Hogwarts. Students making out in the hallways were pushed away to either side of the room,
