Still Alli’s POV

Recap:  I heard her cell phone ringing from my bed. I ran over and answered it.

“Hello?” I said into her phone.

“Hey…is this Maggie?” The deep voice asked.

“No, this is her friend.” I said.

“Alli?”

“Yes, who is this?” I asked.

“Alli, it’s Tad. Can you put Maggie on?” Tad asked.

I smiled. Tad has been calling almost everyday now just to check in on Maggie and see how she’s doing. He’s a real friend.

“Sure thing!” I said, handing Maggie her cell phone.

Maggie took it out of my hand and pressed it to her ear.

Maggie’s POV

“Hello?” I said into the phone.

“Hey!” I heard Tad’s voice say.

“Hey, Tad. What’s up?” I asked, smiling into the phone.

“Just called to see how you’re doing.” Tad said.

“Tad, you’ve been calling everyday since I came back to Los Angeles…” I said.

“I know, I know. I just like to see how you’re doing and stuff.” Tad said.

“Thanks. You’re a true friend!” I said, smiling.

“So, how are you?” He asked.

“Same as yesterday…and the day before. I’m good. How are you?” I asked.

“That’s good, and I’m pretty good myself.” He said.

“That’s good.” I said.

Things were getting awkward since we didn’t really have anything else to say.

“So, when are you coming to see me?” He asked.

“I think the bigger question is when are you coming to see me?” I asked, laughing.

“As soon as possible I hope. I’ll definitely be up before Cody goes on tour.” He said.

“Yeah. Well, I have to go. Thanks for calling, Tad!” I said.

“Okay. Bye, and no problem!” Tad said, hanging up.

I threw my phone back on Alli’s bed and looked at Alli.

“I think Tad has a crush on youuuuuuuu.” Alli said, smirking.

“Shut up, Alli!” I said, laughing.

“Well, it’s true!” Alli shouted.

“No it’s not! No one has a crush on me!” I shouted back, laughing.

Alli’s face went from smiley to serious.

“No one has a crush on you? I bet every guy that sees you has a crush on you. But, Cody sure does love you!” Alli said, with a straight face, which meant she was serious.

“No one has a crush on me, Alli, and Cody doesn’t love me.” I said.

“Cody doesn’t love you? Why did he kiss you then?” She asked.

I forgot that Cody had kissed me.

I smiled to myself replaying that moment in my head over and over again.
