I would've had kept sleeping but when I rolled over and didn't feel the warmth I been enjoying. I freaked out. Lucky wasn't in bed with me.

I got up and went to look for him.

"Kyle," my father was still here. And my uncle and aunt. Jazz sat by his mother. And there was someone else. Alan.

"What's going on?" I frowned.

"Lucky got kidnapped," they could've had just plunged the knife deep into my heart. So I can die.

"What? How?!" I asked pacing around. "He was just here a while ago! How could this had happened?"

"It's my fault," my father sigh. "I didn't know about the new rules and the curfew. Nor about the situation. If O had known, I wouldn't have let Lucky leave on his own. I even ask him if he needed a ride home. But he said his home wasn't far. I'm sorry son, I should've had stopped him."

"It's fine," I can't blame my father. He didn't know. "We have to go look for him."

"We already are," Alan said. "But you'll keep out of this. We'll deal with this. You worry about school. I can't risk your generation."

Like hell will I stay put.

"Let's go!" Flower yelled. "Let us go find Lucky. Cathy cover for us."

"You better be back before Monday," Cathy said. "Your lucky mom and dad aren't here."

Since last week, Flower and I have been planning a way to get Lucky back. It turns out. Flower is excellent at tracking people. Her sense of smell is way much better than anyone else. Jazz is tagging along even though I told him no.

"Let's go," good thing Cathy parents are out of town. It seems her parents are gathering reinforcements.

I sigh. Its been a week since Lucky's got captured. I'm already agitated. I need to have him now. I need to hold him. To know that his alright.

My wolf was getting restless. He wanted out. But I can't let him out. Not yet.

"This way," we follow Flower.

I kept Jazz close to me. I hope this doesn't take a week. Because if our parents find out, we sneaked out. We'll get grounded for life.

Lucky hold on a little longer.

"Dang it," I kicked the grass. "We could've had been there by sundown."

"I know but, we need a break," Jazz said.

"But," I sat down. "I suppose we do need a break." We have been walking for hours. It's already night.

"Lucky scent is so, strong," Flower said. "He so needs to change his shampoo. Maybe to strawberry kind."

"Don't you dare," I glare. "I happen to love the way he smells. I'll pluck your petals if you change his scent."

"No need to be so harsh," he pouted.

"Oh, you two quit it," Jazz handed us some sandwiches and a soda. "It's a good thing I pack some food. Because we would've had been eating rabbit for dinner."

"Ewe," Flower wrinkle his nose. I chuckled.

"Rabbit isn't so, bad," I tease.

Flower gasped. "You monster," Flower shook his head. "Shame on you for eating an innocent beautiful creature."

"I'm kidding," I laugh. "I only eat meat that sells in stores."

"Better," Flower munched on her sandwich, glaring.
