CHAPTER 3 [Her Smile]

[AGA]

“Actually Mr. Villas, I’ve heard about that but unfortunately, it doesn’t suit me. How about you Mr. Villas, haven’t you heard about the saying ‘it’s better to be late than never?’ I love that saying ‘coz it suits me best.” I grinned and turned my back at him.

Beat that Mister. The nerve! How come he didn’t know me? My God, my face is all over the billboards, magazines and TV commercials. I am always present in different fashion shows, events and party. And then, he would say to me that HE DIDN’T KNOW ME?

ARGH! Nakakainis lang!

Well kung sabagay, napakaboring nyang tignan. Mukang itong hotel nya lang yung alam nyang lugar sa mundo.

He got the looks naman eh. Matangkad, katamtaman lang yung katawan, pointed nose, kissable lips. And he got an adorable eyes na natatakpan nung eyeglasses nya.

Kaya lang masyado syang simple, plain and boring.

Kung hindi lang talaga dahil kay Nats hindi ko papatulan ‘tong advertisement photoshoot para dito sa hotel na to e. Pinsan kasi nya si Kristine yung advertising manager dito. Because I am such a good friend kaya pumayag na ko. Wala naman akong naka schedule ngayon e.

“Ayan tapos na, ang ganda mo talaga Miss Aga” sabi ni Ate Dona.

Yung make-up artist ko magmula nung nag-umpisa ako dito sa modeling career ko. Sya ang isa sa dahilan kung bakit lalo akong gumaganda.

“I know, at lalo akong gumaganda dahil sayo. Thank you Dona.” I smiled at her.

Kahit naman may pagka maldita ako, marunong ako maka appreciate at lagi akong nagpapasalamat sa mga taong nakakatrabaho ko.

“Are you ready Miss Aga?” tanong nung photographer

I smiled at him and said “Yeah. Let’s do this”

Naglakad na ko papunta sa set at huminto sa kinauupuan ni Mr. Villas. I leaned towards him and whisper

“Watch me Mr. Villas and see for yourself how great I am.  Let see kung hindi mo kainin lahat ng sinabi mo sakin kanina”

And I give him my sweetest smile and walks towards the set.

Nagulat ako sa ginawang paglapit ni Aga sa akin, at mas lalong hindi ko inaasahan yung ginawa nyang pagbulong sa akin.

For a lady with an innocent face like her, she got so much confidence in herself and a very tough personality. I watched her project, pose and smile through the camera and I can tell, the camera really loves her and I hate to admit to myself that she’s right…

“She’s great”

And before I knew it, the words came out of my mouth.

“I told you, and I’m sure this will be a big hit” Sabi ni Robin habang nakatingin din kay Aga.

“I hope so” I said while still looking at her.

There is something about her smile. Yeah, that smile is so familiar. I think I saw it before.
