Chapter 16: Show me love

For the past week I was helping Levi with his paper work. We were finding it more about the Titan shifters, and who that girl was.

"Levi I brung your lunch." I said walking in his office.

"Put it on the table, I will get to it."

I looked at Levi confused.

"Levi this isn't a choice..."

He ignored me and continued his work.
I pulled him by the arm and lifted him up. He grunted as I sat in his chair.

"Tch, brat.." he got his plate and sat on the couch.
Someone knocked on the door.

"Name and reason." Levi said as he bit down on his bread.

Hanji opened the door and came inside.

"The fireworks are tonight, so be prepared as you are going to give your speech." She said.

" Damn...That's tonight?" Levi muttered.

Hanji left the room quietly and Levi countinued eating.

I was twirling around in his chair from the boredom.

I started to get really dizzy and I walked over to Levi and sat beside him on the couch. I laid my head on his lap and looked at his face, he looked piss and grabbed the pillow and put it over my head.

"Levi I can't breathe!" I gasping trying to catch my breathe.

He lifted up the pillow and lifted my head up to catch my breathe.

"What are you going to say for the speech at the fireworks."

He shrugged.

"None of your business..."

"Jeez Levi your so rude." I complained.

I got up and left out his office.

I saw Mikasa and Armin walking down the hallway.
I called out to them and waved my hands.

"(Y/N)!!" They both said.

I hugged both of them, it's been a while since I seen them since I was moved in to the higher ranks room.
"Hows the leaders squad?" Armin asked.

"Yeah I heard about two of the leaders death, Petra and Erwin was it?" Mikasa asked.

I nodded and looked depressed.

"Yeah but they fought honorable." I added.

"Eren token it terrible, he believes it was his fought that they died."

"Where is he?" I asked.

"He is outside I think"

I waved goodbye to them and ran out the door and seen his sitting in the grass.

I sat next to him and patted his back.

"You ok?"

He looked at me.

"The Titan was after me, and those people trying to protect me ended up getting killed, if I turned Titan they would all still be alive."

"But if we haven't found out you were Titan...that wall would of never been closed." I said.

Some cadets passed us with fireworks, I look at the dimmed sky.

"It's going to start soon you should get ready." I said to Eren.

He nodded his head and went inside the building.

"You should be getting ready too cadet.."

I turned around and seen Levi with his arms crossed leaned over the wall.

"Oh you heard that?"

He nodded and walked over to me and sat down.

"In this world...We are going to lose someone special to us...Sometimes we can save them but other times we can't, but there is a wrong and right time for everything...Sometimes you have to except it." Levi said as he leaned back to look at the sky.
I knew he was right...

"Two years ago..When the Titan kicked the wall, the rocks that flew had hit my mother...I couldnt save her..." I looked at the sky too and seen the stars forming.

I started to get sad but I didn't want to show Levi.

"Please excuse me, I will help the cadets with the fireworks."

I got up but he grabbed my hand before I could walk away.

I looked into his eyes.

"Whatever happens, you have to be strong and go with it. I know your mother wants a daughter that will bypass terrible things in life and look into the good things."

I smiled and went to my knees to hug him.

"Thank you" I cried.

His hand pressed against the back of my head as he brung me closer to him.

"(Y/N) go and help the cadets they need you." I heard Hanji voice say.

I nodded my head and ran inside the building.

<Hanji POV>

I stared at Levi as he watch her leave.

I sat beside him.

"I never seen you hug anyone..." I mocked him.
"She's different..."

- BEFORE FIREWORKS-

<Your POV>
I was in the back and saw Levi give his wonderful speech, I saw as his eyes looked around the audience and caught mines. I smiled and gave a thumbs up to him.

He finished and went off stage, everyone spread out as the first firework went off.

I stood in the back and looked up.

They were so beautiful...

I seen Levi walking through the audience and walked toward me.

"Levi you did a wonderf-"

He grabbed my waist and pulled me toward him and kissed my lips.

My eyes widened as he kissed me.
I put my arms around his neck and closed my eyes.
He pulled away and looked down into my eyes.

"(Y/N) I love you..." he said.

I smiled.

"I love you too Levi."

I jumped up and wrapped my legs around him and sunk my head onto his neck.

He grabbed my legs to make sure they won't fall.

"Well look at you two." Hanji said.

I started to blush as she saw us.

"It's about time Levi made a move." She complained.
"Tch." I heard Levi say.

I grabbed ahold of Levi cheeks and kissed him again.

Mom..I found my first beneficial love...
