"Liesel, your dog's on my bed again," Abbey complained.

Liesel sighed and stared at Romulus as he yawned and licked his chops. "Okay you. Off the bed now!" When he didn't move, she yelled, "NOW!"

The large dog finally crawled off the bed and scampered to her feet and she gently lifted his face to hers. "You gotta stay off her bed, she's getting mad at me!"

"Why don't you two switch beds. It's obvious that the dog wants to sleep in the sun!"

"Must be part cat then," Abbey said under her breath.

Liesel's face looked hopeful. "Wanna switch?"

"No. I don't."

Liesel's face fell and she sighed and patted her mattress and the large dog climbed up on her bed and placed his head in her lap.

Kaitlyn shook her head and offered to switch beds, then together they moved the bed so that the mattress was positioned in the sun for most of the day. They changed the linens and moved their personal decor. "Aww, don't mind her. She's only sore because she's been trying to catch his eye for four years and he's noticed you on your first day."

"Huh? Who?"

Kaitlyn grinned. "Why Sirius Black of course!"

Liesel rolled her eyes. "She can have him. I think I like Remus better anyway. He's really nice. So is the other one..."

"Who?"

"I can't remember his name."

"What's he look like?"

"Umm...dark hair, glasses..."

"Ah, you mean Potter! Well, he's not for you either," Kaitlyn said.

"What do you mean, for me? I just meant that he seems nice and he plays the guitar so he can't be all that bad."

"Well, he's not nice unless your name is Lily Evans."

"Who's that," Liesel asked.

"She is Gryffindor's other sixth year prefect. And they're the school's pranksters, a bit bullyish if you ask me! And Remus Lupin is best friends with the lot of them!"

"Really? He was so nice," Liesel said.

"Well Remus is quite the academic so if you're of a mind to see him, the library is where you want to be and Potter's quite the quidditch player...we are playing them tomorrow you know?"

Liesel nodded.

"First game of the season, I can't wait! We might actually stand a chance this year."

"Why's that?"

"Black got kicked off the team!"

"Oh yeah? How come?"

"Dunno, it's all hush-hush!"

Liesel remembered something Professor McGonagall had said about kicking their best beater off the time and shrugged her shoulders. "I'm gonna go get a snack, ya want anything?"

"No thanks, I'm still full from supper. Aren't you?"

"Nah. Y'all didn't let me eat much!"

Kaitlyn giggled. "Sorry about that," she said.

"It's okay. Abby, do you want anything?"

The blond eyed her harshly and shook her head.

"Rommy, you be nice. Go find Mister Fluffybutt why don't ya?"

The dog lifted his massive head and his eyes brightened as his ears perked up.

"Go find him! Go on!"

The dog slipped off the bed and went into hunter-mode and he sniffed around as the other two girls lifted their legs onto their beds. "What's he looking for?"

"His bunny. I hid it for him to find."

"Just as long as he leaves my cat alone; she looks as if she's going to have a heart attack!"

"He's been raised around cats. Trust me, he's not interested in your cat," Liesel huffed as she walked out of the room.
