Maya POV

Lucas and I have been officially moved in for a week now. It was really nice having our own place. I ordered one of those Fetal Doppler's so that we could listen to her heartbeat. McKenzie seemed to come around a lot more after Lucas and I had that talk with her.  Today was a bit of a lazy day but any day spent with my Huckleberry was never a boring one. We were cuddling on the couch watching a movie and of course I fell asleep on him. It seemed that this pregnancy was really draining me lately. As I lay there asleep I felt a shooting pain in my abdomen which caused me to jolt awake.

"Are you okay?" Lucas said and I could tell he was alarmed.

I chuckled "Yes, I'm fine. your daughter is currently doing gymnastics in my tummy." I said and he placed his hand on my belly to feel her move.

"She needs to be a soccer player like Daddy was." he said with a smile and I rolled my eyes.

"I have a feeling this little one is going to have her father wrapped around her tiny little finger before she's even out of the womb." I replied and he chuckled.

"Better Daddy than Mommy." he joked.

I sat up and looked at him giving him a look "And what's that supposed to mean?"

"That if she's got you wrapped then I'm doomed. You're the biggest troll I know. She's bound to learn from you. I'll be doomed It's bad enough you already got Kenzie calling me Ranger Rick." he said and I couldn't help but giggle.

"You know what?" I said with a grin as I crawled up into his lap. "Our daughter and I will make the perfect team along with her Aunt at trolling Daddy and there will not be one thing you can do about it Huckleberry."

"Not if I have anything to say about it and besides she's going to be too busy loving the farm life with Daddy to be worried about trolling me." he said and I looked at him like he had lost his mind.

"How can she enjoy farm life in the city?" I said to him.

"Hmm, well I plan on taking trips to Texas. She will love helping me with the animals. She will have even have the cowgirl attire to go with it."

"Our daughter will absolutely not be brought up as a farm girl." I said and he just rolled his eyes at me.  "You can take her for a horse ride though cause princesses love to have their own horse."

"Hey you know what? There is nothing wrong with the farm life. I'll teach her how to milk a cow. She'll love it." he said and I snorted.  "I'll even teach her about birthing the horses."

"Okay I draw the line at horses giving birth. " I chuckled.

"Oh come on it's not that bad." he argued.

"There is no way in hell I would ever allow that to happen." I chuckled.

"Oh really so are we both parenting her or just you?" he said and I laughed even more.

"When it comes to that just me." I replied

I placed my arm around Lucas and smiled at him with a grin. He rolled his eyes at me "Yeah, you keep laughing at me but you'll see who wins." he replied. "I'm clearly the favorite parent already."

"Lucas!' I said to him "That's so mean!"

"You're mean! Insulting my farm life." he replied and I just laughed harder.

"I can't with you." I said as I continued to laugh. "So help me god if this baby shows any sign of loving farm animals."

"I'm done arguing about this. I win end of it." he said and then I grabbed him and kissed him.

"I love you HeeHaw." I said and he grinned.

"That's a new one." he replied. "I love you too even though you're a pain in the ass."

Lucas and I continued to cuddle on the couch the rest of the day and then we went to bed at around 10:30. However the baby had other plans because she woke Mommy up at about 2:00 and had me craving Tacos. No way was I getting up and going out to the city and even though Lucas would probably be pissed that I woke him up to do this I knew he'd listen to me.

"Lucas?" I said as I shook him awake.

"Hmm?" he mumbled.

"Wake up." I replied before turning the light on.

He rolled over putting his face in the pillow "Whats wrong and what time is it?"

"You mind going to get me some Tacos?" I said trying not to laugh.

"Are you kidding me?" he mumbled into the pillow.

"No, I'm completely serious. Baby girl and I are hungry. Get moving."

Lucas groaned as he got up out of bed. His hair was all disheveled from laying in bed. Truth be told he looked kind of hot.

"If this doesn't prove how much I love you and that baby then I don't know what will." he said as he threw his shirt on. I just laid there looking on him.

"We both love you very much." I grinned.

"And if this an every night occurrence until she's born then I'm screwed." he said and I snorted.

"Until she's born? Lucas we're both going to be sleep deprived for the next year." I chuckled  "And by the way I clearly win because she's trolling you from the womb."

I started giggling and he chucked a pillow at me which made me laugh harder. It took him about 30-40 minutes to go out on the Taco run. I was starving when he got back but bless him he bought me like 8 Tacos. He went back to bed while I sat in the kitchen eating. I was eating my Tacos and browsing through my Twitter timeline on my phone. Once I was done I went and brushed my teeth, went back in the bedroom and Lucas was already snoring. But there was something about the way he looked that really got to me. He was laying there shirtless in nothing but his boxers and the moonlight hit on his biceps making me weak in the knees. I think I needed him. I walked over to the bed and got in it.

"Lucas?" I whispered as I shook him.

"What now?" he mumbled annoyance clearly in his voice.

I said nothing but straddled him "I think I need you." I said he opened his eyes to look at me with a surprised expression his face and before I knew I was being gently flipped around so I was now underneath him.

"Really?" he said in reply to me.

I nodded at him "Yeah, blame it on hormones." I giggled.

"Lets go and you better let me sleep in tomorrow. " he said and I couldn't help but chuckle.

Lucas and I slept in until Noon the next day. So much for staying on a good schedule. I wouldn't trade it for the world though.
