Chapter 33

Maya POV

Lucas and I got up around 8AM to get around for the day. Kinleigh had been sleeping since her last feeding which was at 6AM. I knew that she would be up soon so I woke up to get a shower I so that we could take the girls to his Nanna's. Last night she told Lucas that she wanted us to come and have breakfast so that's why we get up early. I had just got into the shower and had just got done washing my hair when I heard the curtain move. I couldn't help but roll my eyes when I saw Lucas standing there with a smirk. 

"What are you doing?" I said to him. 

"I thought I'd join you." he said as he walked up to me. 

"A little bit of a..." and that was all I could get out before he cut me off by kissing me.  

Lucas backed me into the wall as he continued to kiss me then he stopped and started making kissing trails down my neck. I was in too deep when it came to stuff like this and he knew it. We ended up having sex in the shower and once done I left him so he could get around which was good because as soon as I stepped out of the shower and was putting my towel around me Kinleigh woke up and began fussing. I dropped the towel to the floor and picked her up out of the pack n play so that I could feed her. She stopped crying as soon as I picked her up. 

"Mommy's got you." I said as I kissed her  cheek. 

I laid Kineligh down on the bed and she started fussing again when I put her down. She stopped though once I laid beside her and put my boob her face so she could latch on. I pulled the covers up over me as I fed her.  I loved the little noise she would sometimes make when I fed her. A lot of the times she would play with her feet. This time she started grunting and dropped a load in her diaper. Lucas had come out a few minutes later and got dressed which meant I was going to make him change her.  I sat up and looked at Lucas he stood there. 

"You want to take her for me so I can get dressed?" I replied as I stood Kinleigh up in front of me. 

She saw Lucas and started squealing in excitement so I handed her to him. "Yeah I can take her. By the way did you let one rip in here?"

"Nope. Your daughter needs her diaper changed." I said and then gave him a shit eaten grin causing him to roll his eyes at me. 

"You're a pain in my ass." he said and I started laughing. 

"You're dressed and I'm not so you get the poopy diaper this time." I said as i got out of bed. "If you wouldn't have jumped me in in the shower then we wouldn't have this problem because I'd already be dressed. "

Lucas laid Kinleigh on the changing table part of the pack n play and began to change her as I got dressed. Boy did it reek too. Once he was done he picked Kinleigh back up and turned back around to me. 

"The next time she shits like that you are changing her end of story." he said and I started laughing.

Lucas and I got Kenzie up and had her get dressed so that we could leave. Once she was ready we took of to Pappy Joe and Nanna's. I have never seen Lucas so excited to eat breakfast before. I understood why once we ate. She made the best eggs and pancakes that I have ever eaten before. 

"Kay makes a good breakfast doesn't she?" Pappy Joe said as we came into the living room.

"She makes the best." Lucas replied and then turned to face his Nanna "Thanks Nanna for the breakfast." 

"Yes, Kay it was delicious. Thank you." I answered.

"You're welcome. You two get going. I want to enjoy my great grand-daughter." She said and I chuckled. 

"Okay, but before we go I want to tell you her routine. She had her baby cereal before we came over but she might get hungry for a bottle soon as well as due in for her nap. I usually put her down between 11 and Noon." I replied and when she wakes up she will probably be hungry too." 

"Don't worry dear I got this. While she naps I think Kenzie and I are going to make some pies. Lucas loves my apple pies." She said and Lucas smiled. 

"Thanks Nanna for watching the girls for us and for making me the pie." Lucas said. 

"No thanks needed now you two go one." she replied.

Before leaving Lucas and I told Kenzie to be good and she said that she would. Leaving Kinleigh was starting to get easier for me. I was excited about me and Lucas spending the day together. This time he took me to the Blanton Museum of Art which is The Univserty of Texas at Austin. The exhibits where beautiful and they had many different paintings from different eras. I loved seeing all of it. After we did that we went to another art museum called Mexic Arte Museum which had different Latino and Mexican works of art. I loved seeing artworks of different cultures. The last thing we did was go to a place called the  Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum. It was amazing to see all kind of different artworks. Lucas had really out done himself today. Once we were done we decided to go back to his Nanna and Papa's to get the girls. I had a great time with Lucas was but was starting to miss Kinleigh a lot. We ate dinner with Kay and Joe then went back to Lucas dads place. We took the girls for a walk and of course Kenzie wanted to ride the horse again so Lucas let her. After that I put the girls to bed and asked Lucas Dad if he would keep and ear out for Kinleigh if she woke up because Lucas wanted to have a fire. He said to go ahead and that if she did wake up he'd feed her for us. I made my way outside to Lucas who had got the fire going. He looked at me and grinned as I walked over to him. 

"This brings back an amazing memory." I said as I walked over to him. 

He took my hand and led me over to the blanke and we sat downt. "I will never forget it." he said with a smile. "The look on your face and your reaction when I told you I was coming home with you for good will forever stay in my mind." 

I started to tear up a little bit "That was one of the best moments of our relationship knowing that you would be with forever and now look at us. We have our little girl." I said as a tear slid down my cheek.

"I wouldn't change anything. Our moments in Texas were some of the best." he said as he placed a small kiss on my cheek.

I looked up at him as a tear ran down my cheek and of course he wiped it away "You know what else was really special? My first time. You  really made my first time so special, Lucas. I'm so glad that when I lost my virginity it was to you." 

"Me too Maya and I'm glad I made it special for you. It was one of the most bittersweet moments of my life. I was wanting you so bad for so long but I didn't want to do anything until I knew you were ready. Do you know how many times I had to sneak in the bathroom after we made out?" he said and I could n't help but chuckle. "I was so happy that you wanted me too." 

"I love you Lucas. More than life itself and I'm forever thankful for you being in my life." I said as I puled him close to me and kissed him. 

Lucas and I made out by the fire for a little bit then after that I just laid in his arms and we looked at the stars. It was nice having a moment like this just him and I. As time went by we eventually went inside and went to bed.
