Chapter 22

Maya POV

Today is Christmas Eve and my Dad is stopping by to meet Kinleigh for the first time. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. Dad and I had texted while she was in the hospital and he decided he'd come see her after she got out since he knew I was busy and all being with her. I understood that. It will be nice to see him again. My mom bought Kinleigh the cutest first Christmas outfit and I couldn't wait to put her in it. It was a white onesie that said "My 1st Christmas" in red and green letters with three little snowflakes underneath it, a a pair of pants and a cute little headband. We had a lazy morning today so at about Noon is when I decided to give Kinleigh a bath.  I grabbed Kinleigh's baby bathtub, shampoo, and a towel then made my way out to the kitchen so I could fill her little tub up. 

"You ready for her?" Lucas said to me as he stood there holding a naked Kinliegh in his arms. 

"Awe aren't you the best daddy. Thanks for getting her ready for me." I said as I gently took her out of his arms. 

"Anytime, I love you." he said as he leaned in and kissed me sofftly. 

I gently laid Kinleigh in her tub and began to wash her. She was wide awake and loved bath time. 

"You like that don't you smol bean." I smiled as I continued to wash her. 

"She definitely does, Mommy." Lucas said as he brushed his finger across her little cheek.

Once I got done washing her little body I wet the wash cloth again and gently lifted her little head with the palm of my hand. I squeezed the wash clash making it so the water that was soaked it it wet her little head to wash what hair she had. Her hair was going to be the same color as Daddy's. It was starting to become a light dirty blonde. Once I was done I gently laid her little head back down. I placed the wash cloth on the counter.  

I turned to look at Lucas "You got her towel ready?" I said to him. 

"Yep." he answered. 

Lucas grabbed the towel off the counter and I gently picked up Kinleigh out of her tub. We walked over to the couch and Lucas spread to towel out for me. I gently placed her on top of it and swaddled her in it. I stood up from the couch and leaned down to pick her up. I cradled her in my arms and turned to look at Lucas who was standing there beside me. 

"I love you. Thank you for helping me out." I said as I looked up at Lucas. 

"You're welcome. I love you too." he said as he leaned down to kiss me. 

"I'll be back. I'm going to go get her dressed then feed her so she'll go to sleep." I replied. 

"While you do that I'll continue watching my game" he said with a smile. 

I took Kinleigh back to our bedroom. I gently laid her on the bed and grabbed her lotion and a diaper out from underneath her bassinet. I dried her off then rubbed the lotion on her and put a diaper on her before putting the onesie and the little pants on her. She looked so cute. I figured if I was going to breast feed her that I'd just strip naked since I had to shower anyways. I moved her more towards the middle of the bed then laid down beside her. I pulled the covers up on me then positioned myself so she could latch on to me which she did without a hitch. I fed her and burped then placed her in her bassinet. I decided I was going to lay in bed for a minute and browse on my phone. I had got so lost in my phone that I didn't hear Lucas come in. 

"You okay in here?" he said as he walked over to the bed. 

"Yep, I was just on my phone texting with Riley." I said as he laid down beside me. He didn't realize I was naked under the covers. 

I was laying on my side facing Lucas and he still hadn't noticed I was naked. I was just waiting for him to take notice of it. Lucas got under neath the covers then positioned himself so he was now facing me. He placed his hand on my hip and went to pull me closer to him. It was then that he noticed I was naked. Lucas got a smirk on his face then lifted the covers up to look underneath them. 

"Maya Penelope Hart! I didn't realize you were naked." he said and I blushed. 

"Well, I was going to get a shower after I got done feeding the baby so I decided to just do it naked. 

He pushed me back so I was now laying on my back then hovered over me "I'm certainly not complaining." he smirked as he leaned down and placed his lips on mine. He brushed his hand along my thigh and I sucked in my breath. He pulled away from the kiss and disappeared under the covers. I was so confused at first but when I felt him slithering down my  body and then I felt  him spread my legs a part and his tongue on me I knew exactly what he was doing. Sex with Lucas was always amazing. He knew just what to do to me and what I liked. Once we were done I decided it was time for me to get a shower and he got one after. 

Dad got there right on time at 4:00 I let him in and then walked over to the pack n play to pick up Kinleigh. She was good to go after another good feeding. I walked over to Dad who was sitting on the couch. I sat down beside him on the couch and looked up at him with a smile. 

"This is Kinleigh, you can hold her if you want." I said to him. 

"I'd love that." he said and I gently handed her to him. "She looks so cute in this little outfit." 

"Thanks, Mom got it for me." I replied. 

"She's adorable Maya." he said as he looked down at her. "I'm so proud of you." 

"Thank you." I answered. 

Dad looked down at Kinleigh and smiled "Hello, beautiful Kinleigh, it's Grandpa. I'm so glad that I finally got to meet you." he said to her. 

"I'm glad you got to meet her too." I replied. 

Lucas walked in and sat down on the recliner. He put the football game and looked over at me and smiled. 

"Hi Lucas, how are you?" my dad said to him.

"I'm great, thank you!" he replied. 

"She looks like you Maya." my dad said to me. 

"Everyone has been saying that. There times she really looks like Lucas though. Especially when she's sleeping." I replied. 

Dad, Lucas, and I visited for awhile and then he got going because he had some Christmas Eve festivities he had to go to. I was fine with it because we were going to Topanga's for her annual Christmas eve party. Lucas's mom and Kenzie were going to be there as well so I was excited to see them. I was looking forward to celebrating my smol beans first Christmas.
