Maya POV

Lucas got a really good paying job as a Lyft driver in the city and I continued to keep my babysitting job for McKenzie. With that the two of us were able to afford the apartment we were living in. The only thing we were concerned about is what we were going to do once school started. Lucas said he wasn't worried about it that we'd figure it out. It was the weekend and I was sleeping peacefully in bed cuddled up with Lucas. I awoke to his hand going under my shirt as he placed it on my baby bump. I looked at him and he smiled at me before kissing me softly on the lips.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you. I just wanted to see if she was moving." he said with a smile.

"It's okay." I said with a smile. "She was moving around earlier."

"I'm so excited to meet her." Lucas replied. "Have you thought of any names for her?"

"Yeah, I have a few in mind. I want Grace to be her middle name after my Mom." I said as I cuddled into him more.

"I like Grace. What are your other ideas?" he asked me.

"I like Aria, Faith, Serenity, Anna, Hallie, Savannah,Kinleigh, Brynlee, and there are others." I replied.

"I think out of all of them I like Kinleigh best." he replied and I smiled at him.

"Kinleigh has always been one of my favorites." I said as I traced his jawline with my finger.

"Kinleigh Grace Friar. I like it." he replied as he rubbed my tummy.

"I guess Kinleigh it is then." I replied "We could call her Kin for short."

"I love it and I love you. " he said as he placed a kiss on my lips "Are you hungry?"

"Yeah, I was just starting to get hungry actually." I replied.

"Come on I'll make breakfast for us." he replied.

Lucas and I got out of bed and I went and laid on the couch while he made breakfast. I was texting Riley about the name we chose and she was so excited about it. She told me she loved the name and that she couldn't wait to meet her niece. We were texting about going shopping at some point and buying things for her. Lucas was making us eggs, toast, and bacon. It smelled so good.

"Breakfast is ready." he said from the kitchen.

I got up from the couch and walked over to the table to sit with him. Everything looked delicious.

"Looks good, Huckleberry." I said as I sat down beside him at the table.

"You know you look adorable in my t-shirt." he said with a smirk.

"Thanks. It's most comfortable to me right now." I chuckled.

"You want to go out shopping and look at Nursery themes?" he asked as he took a bit of his toast.

"Yeah we can!" I replied as I took sip of orange juice. "I want it to be something simple."

Lucas and I finished our breakfast then got around for the day to go looking at Nursery themes. The store had many of them but I really wanted it to be something simple. We picked out the crib which was a beautiful grey color and chose to go with light purple, grey, and white colors for the paint. The store had a beautiful bedding set with those colors and the design was adorable. I wanted to get her a baby blanket with her name on it. After paying for everything we headed back home.

"Today was so exciting." Lucas said and I looked over at him.

"It was! At least I'm to the halfway point of this pregnancy. I can't wait to meet her. "I replied.
