You lied to me

As morning creeped into the curtains Jackie awoke to the sounds of cars from the street. still laying down she turned to look at Jack, sound asleep he was. Thinking about what she found last night an idea occurred to her. She was going to try to call the number. She creeped up carefully and went into the living room. She looked at the clock 6:25 am is what it said. She took the paper and dialed the numbers. Her heat beating a little faster with every dial being pressed. Awaiting for the person to answer she moved her head to where her bedroom door is and still saw Jack asleep. As she turned back she heard a voice " hello?". Jackie froze for a moment. "Hello?" Said the voice again. Coming back to reality Jackie responded " hello, I'm calling from *she thought about what to make up* from the hospital. I had this number on file for a person I just wanted to make sure this was the right one, may I ask who this is?". Biting her nail Jackie waited for an answer " oh well in that case this is Grace , Grace Kelly" frustrated Jackie responded " oh well thank you" then she hung up. She decided to get ready, she put on her dress and hat. She didn't know where to go so she called Marlon. "Hey I'm sorry for calling so early I just wanted to know if we could go out ? Maybe just for a bite or an... " say no more" Marlon said. " I'll be there at 7 sharp." Looking at the clock Jackie noticed it 6:50 he only had 10 minutes. By the time she was about to go to the bathroom she heard knocking. "He.." Jackie covered  his mouth and put her finger up to her mouth to signal him to shhh. With a confused look Marlon asked "why". "I just think it's a little too loud that's all". He grabbed her hand and started to walk. Jackie left a note to Jack saying
"went out to run some errands , 
                                                Love , Jacqueline"

About 30 minutes after they left Jack awoke. Feeling to see if Jackie was there he got up as soon as he realized she wasn't and yelled her name. 3 times already and no response. He ran to the living room and on the coffee table saw the note. Sighing with relief he sat down and fell asleep again on the couch. Paying no attention to his back he had slept the wrong way.

  Waking up to the sound of a door being opened, jack sat up quickly and rubbed his eyes. All of a sudden his back cracked and he yelled in pain. jackie dropped her bags and ran to help jack. "jack ? Jack are you okay"? Jackie panicked and helped him to the bed. Sitting at his side she looked worried. He smiled. "I'm sorry to panic you like that , I just I don't know what to do about my back". Smiling in return Jackie held his hand " just stay here as long as you need to , I'm sure you would miss my comfortable bed"she said sarcastically. Gazing at her Jack was about to speak when Someone knocked at the door. Jackie turned to Jack telling him she'll be right back.
Shocked Jackie saw Marlon standing there with her wallet. "You forgot this" he said looking at her promiscuously. " thank you"Jackie said kissing him on the cheek. "Could I come in?" Marlon said grabbing her back. Pushing his arms from her she giggles nervously. "I just .. My mother is coming and I don't want her seeing my messy home, maybe tomorrow ?". Marlon nodded and kissed her on the cheek" tomorrow then" he said looking her up and down licking his lips. She blushed and winked at him, "goodbye".
"Who was at the door?" Jack said curiously. Looking down " it was just the mail man" she said nervously. " oh well what'd ya get?"said Jack "Oh nothing , just some bills and all". Nodding Jack patted the spot next to him signaling Jackie to sit next to him. "Actually I'm going to take a shower and be right back". " don't take too long" Jack said.
Hopping in the shower the hot water relaxed Jackie. 30 minutes later she got out and saw Jack looking up at the ceiling. "What are you thinking about" she said interrupting his thoughts. Looking at Jackie " just about you" said jack. Blushing a little Jackie went to his side and laid there. He turned and hugged her. She was kind of scared when he hugged  her but she felt warm in his arms so she embraced his love.  "You know Jackie I've been thinking, we should go somewhere" " well what do you have in mind" asked Jackie. "I was thinking Hyannis port?"
