New feelings

Looking at Jackie , Jo couldn't help but smile. He never really realized how beautiful she was until the moon light appeared perfectly on her complexion.
" you alright" Jo asked Jackie as he put his hand on her shoulder. Looking at him Jackie smiled. "I'm getting there". 

" don't worry in about 3 minutes you'll be there because you're going to taste the best burgers in town"

Laughing" is that so" Jackie said putting her hand out the window feeling the fresh air.

 " yes ma'am ".

   "I'm worried about her" said Jack biting his nails. 

"She's fine, kid"  said Bobby patting Jack on the back.

 " has anyone seen Joe?" Jack said getting up to get a drink.

 " no" said everyone in unison. 

"Last place I saw him was running after Jackie after she ran inside crying". "Oh Jack, why'd you do it? She's a great girl and you just treat her like one of your flings" said kick looking at the floor. Feeling nothing but sadness Jack went to his room to relax for a bit.  Laying on his bed he stared up at the ceiling. His thoughts were like tornadoes in his mind. "Where could she have gone?" He asked himself.  Did she go with Joe somewhere?

                  Would she leave me?
                   Did I just lose the love of my life ?
As his eyes started to get more and more watery from his dreadful thoughts he began to fall asleep.
    " oh Joe you shouldn't have " said Jackie with her arms over the dashboard amazed at how colorful the diner was. 

" right this way my lady" Joe opened the door for Jackie. Blushing a little Jackie got out.  Once at a booth a waitress attended them immediately.

 " how can I help you?" She said.

 "Can you give us a minute ?" Asked Joe. 

"Sure" .

" see anything you want" he sad looking up to her.

 "Ooh yes umm this burger here looks delicious and these curly fries do too!" Meanwhile she showed him what she thought was appetizing Joe couldn't help but stare in amazement . How she had a certain glow to her and Ora of pure elegance and sexiness. She's the epitome of perfect he thought. "What about you" she asked pulling him back to reality. 

"Umm yeah I'll have whatever you're having" surprised Jackie nodded and smiled big. 

  After their food was taken they ate and talked. "Yeah, I work for the newspaper" she said dipping a fry into ketchup "what about you?" She asked Joe. He was about to say something but stopped and laughed. "What's wrong?" Asked Jackie. He laughed even harder. Hitting him playfully on his shoulder Jackie asked him again. "Joe stop acting foolish what's wrong ?" He got close to her and wiped the ketchup from the side of her mouth with his thumb then wiped that off with a napkin. Jackie couldn't help but start laughing also " oh you fool" she told Joe.
After finishing they're meal they went for a walk. Jackie's arm wrapped around Joe's.

 " how does a beautiful girl like you fall for a stupid man like my brother ?" He asked. 

Sighing Jackie looked at Joe. " I'm not sure I truly love him Joe, I mean he's a very attractive man... But if he has cheated me once he's certain to do it again". "And how does a handsome man like you not have a girlfriend or fiancé ?"  Jackie asked Joe.

 " it's difficult to explain .. She just .. We don't spark like we use to .. She's away often with work we just didn't have the time" Jackie was about to say "Audrey right?" But didn't want to ruin the mood. As they approached a crosswalk Jackie saw bright lights and heard carnival music. " what's over there!" Pointed Jackie .  

"Oh that's the town carnival " looking down Joe asked " wanna go?"

 Jumping with excitement Jackie said " oh yes yes yesss!" Hugging him Jackie couldn't help but smile big.

 " haha alright let's go" Joe said.

  "Poor Jack" said Rose quietly pulling the cover on him so he could sleep well. She kissed him on his forehead and proceeded to his door. After closing the door she heard Joe Sr. Approach her. " what is the matter with you Joseph?" She said to him angrily. 

"Rose honey , she's a family friend we can't disown her just like that, look ill let her stay for a week and then we can scurry her back". Nodding in agreement rose turned her back to him and went to her room.

   "Wow" said Jackie in astonishment .

 " Jacqueline don't tell me!" Looking curiously to him Jackie asked " don't tell you what" .              " you've never been to a carnival?" Stuffing her face with cotton candy Jackie shook  her head as to say no. "She's so cute with her cheeks filled of cotton candy" thought Joe to himself.

 " my mother and I never really got along, and my father was an alcoholic after they divorced it's just all went downhill for me sort of" Joe frowned then hugged her and kissed her forehead. As soon as Jackie felt his lips on her skin she grinned from ear to ear.

  "JOE?!?!?"
