Don't wanna know

"Ready?" he called out to Jackie. She stood there straightening out her dress, and fixing her hair. 

"Ready" Jack went up behind Jackie and hugged her. She smiled and gave a sigh of relief. 

"Let's go" 

"I'm worried Joe might get scared about something" Jackie said grabbing Jacks hand.

"About what?" 

"Caroline, when she cries whether he will know what she wants"

"Jackie, hes fine" he kissed her. 

"Hey kids" Joe said holding Caroline. 

"Good evening Joe" Jackie smiled. She was beautiful, Joe thought. The way her dress showed off her slim figure, her lips curling into a smile, her eyes shining like never before.

"We'll do just fine" he said raising Caroline's hand, waving it to Jackie. She laughed and looked at Jack to signal she was ready to leave. 

"We'll be back in about an hour or two" Jack said patting Joe on the shoulder and kissing Caroline on her forehead. Joe looked to Jackie.

"I'll be here" he said. Jackie went to Caroline and was on the verge of tears. It broke her heart even leaving her for one hour let alone two. She kissed her on her forehead and kissed Joe on the cheek. She then looked at him and smiled. 

As soon as they got into the car Jackie immediately regretted going. Jack noticed she was a bit tense. "She'll be fine, honey don't worry" he said grabbing her hand.  She sighed.

"I.. I know, but Jack, what if he freaks out or"

"Jackie, he will be fine" he said leaning closer to her. "You deserve this, you just had our child...our first child" he said proudly. 

"Exactly, just had"

"Relax"

"You're right" she said assuring . "Let's go"

As soon as Jack pulled in Jackie started to laugh. He smiled because he knew she'd love it.

"Are you kidding?" she said laughing even harder. 

"No, I felt this place was acceptable" it was the diner in which they first met in. "I even reserved the exact booth we ate in" 

"Oh Jack, you're a fool" she said playfully. Jackie stood there gazing at the place that was responsible for all that has happened. "I haven't been to Jerry's in quite a while"

"After you" he said opening the door. Jackie walked in and felt a gush of emotions over come her. Nothing much, has really changed. The neon lights were the same, though the stools look a different material. 

"I... this is such a wonderful idea Jack" she said blushing. Sitting there she admired place. Wondering if old Jerry would be rolling in his grave right now because of the change of material for the stools. This thought made her laugh out loud.

"What?" Jack asked confused. 

"Oh, nothing" she said smiling big. Everything was perfect.

"I'll be back, I'm going to go to the bathroom really quick" Jack said getting up. Jackie nodded and continued to look around. She soon was scared back into reality when the waitress came.

"Hi, what can i get ya" she said. 

"I would like..." Jackie thought about she should get. "I'll have some curly fries, and lemonade" 

"Oh! make that strawberry lemonade" Jackie corrected. 

"Would that be it?" the waitress asked.

"My..." Jackie didnt know what to call Jack... her husband... or her good friend.

"My husband, is in the bathroom right now, would you mind coming back in about 5 minutes?" Jackie asked

"Sure thing" said the waitress. She looked out of the window and whether it was pure coincidence or fate she saw a couple walking with their child in between them. She smiled because she could finally imagine Jack, Caroline and herself walking in that same manner. 

"Back"  Jack said touching her on the shoulder. 

"I told the waitress to come back in 5 minutes, so you would have time to pick what you want" 

"I think I know what i want"

"And what would that be?" jackie asked

"A cheeseburger, with curly fries, and a strawberry lemonade" he saw her smile turned into slight frown. "Whats wrong?" 

"Jack... I'm worried about my figure, with the baby and all that has been going on " she looked at her stomach and frowned. "I'm so anxious that I will gain weight and be the opposite of what you want me to look like." Jack looked at her then grabbed her hand. 

"Jackie, your weight will never have anything to do with how much or if i will continue to Love you" he rubbed her palm with his thumb. "You are exactly what i envision when it comes to the perfect woman" he turned her face towards him and reached in for a kiss. Jackie felt the passion and love in that one kiss. 

"Alright, we made up our minds yet?" the waitress asked

"I'll have one strawberry lemonade, curly fries and" looking at jackie with a smile, "Two Cheeseburgers" 

"All right" 

Jackie started to wonder about Caroline. "Do you think theyre doing all right?" she asked

"Honey, relax" 

"I know its just Jo-"

"Two cheeseburgers, two lemonades, and two sets of curly fries" the waitress smiled. 

"Thank you" Jack and Jackie said in unison. Jackie grabbed the burger and bit into it. The taste taking her to the first day she met Jack. Jack started to laugh and jackie was confused. A bit insecure, she asked him what he was laughing at. 

"What" she said smoothing her hair down. "Jack! what is it?" smoothing out her dress.  Jack grabbed a napkin and wiped her mouth. 

"Oh Joe, your such a fool" she laughed.

"Joe?" Jack looked confused.
