The Chronicles of my Life: a DIZA fanfic (completed)

2. One year

March 31, 2001

Liza's POV (AN:she is a baby here so the words might not make sense)

I look up from my chair. I see my whole family. My mommy and daddy are holding a cake. 

Everyone: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ELIZABETH! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!"

I stare up at the bright candles as they slowly flicker. My mommy and daddy put the cake in front of me. 

Liza: "I love you mommy and daddy."

I say as I hug them.

Liza's parents: "Happy birthday baby!"

I try to blow out the candles but I can't. My parents help me and then the candles are out. Next thing I know, the cake is being cut and a small piece is put in front of me. I look down at it in awe. I had never had cake before so it was amazing. 

We finish eating and it's really late. I'm very tired. My mommy picks me up and puts me in my bed.

Liza's mom: "I love you Elizabeth"

Liza: "Love you to mommy"

She kisses my forehead and closes the door. She leaves and I stare at the ceiling. I can't wait to go to preschool.
