15. Halloween part 3

AN: HAPPY HALLOWEEN! If it's not Halloween today for you I am sorry but for me today is Halloween. Times zones confuse me. Hope you had a nice Halloween!!!

October 31, 2013 (Still continued)

Liza's POV

We start walking around outside. I see a bunch of kids trick or treating, and I get a bit sad. Gabbie said that Teenagers aren't supposed to trick or treat.

Liza: "Hey umm... Can we trick or treat?"

David: "Please!"

I laugh, and we approach a house. It's decorated with colourful lights and pumpkins. David knocks on the door, and I stare at it. It opens, and I'm surprised by who opens it.

Mr Jones: "Hello!"

Liza & David: "Trick or treat!"

Mr Jones: "Oh here you go! You two look familiar."

Liza: "We are in your science class."

Mr Jones: "Oh yeah! Hello, little humans!"

David: "I didn't know that you lived around here."

Liza: "Yeah. I like your decorations!"

Mr Jones: "Oh well thank you! You guys should be off to get candy from more houses. I will see you guys, next class."

Liza & David: "Bye!"

We walk off and eat some of the candy. I'm glad that I still get to trick or treat.

*A while later*

We went around to a lot of houses. We decided to stop after out bags were halfway full. Since we don't want to go back to the party, we decide just to sit on the corner on the closed road.

David: "I am glad that we ditched that party."

Liza: "Yeah me too. I didn't feel like kissing anyone let alone getting kissed."

David: "The only person I would have been ok kissing would have been you because you are my friend. But not anybody else there."

I look at David's face, and he is completely red.

Liza: "Yeah same here."

I grab some candy out of my bag and eat it. We are both silent.

Liza: "You know, for most people, this silence would be super awkward. But for us, it's just like whatever!"

David: "You know that is true! Why are we so weird?"

Liza: "I don't know?"

I lean my head on his shoulder and relax. We sit there for a while.

I finally move my head and get out my phone.

Liza: "Have you ever heard of vine?"

David: "No. What is it?"

Liza: "It's like 6-second videos. Do you want to make one?"

David: "Sure!"

Liza: "Ok so just go along with it."

I start filming.

Liza: "David what is in the middle of Halloween?"

David: "I don't know. What?"

Liza: "Nothing it's hollow!"

The vine ends and we both start laughing.

David: "Ok where did you find that pun?"

Liza: "I made that up!"

David: "How do you do that?"

Liza: "I don't know? I guess I'm just punderful?"

We both laugh more.

David: "I need that app."

Liza: "You should follow me then!"

David: "Oh I will."

I smile and rest my head back on David's shoulder. Why do I always feel like I can be myself around him?
