14. Halloween part 2

October 31, 2013 (Day continued)

Liza's POV

I get into my house, and my mom is still gone at work. I decide to write her a little note. The note read "I will be at Zane's house with the gang for a mini Halloween party. Will be home late but it's a Friday, so it's ok. Love from -Liza". I walk up to my room and look in the mirror. My makeup has come off a bit, so I decide to touch it up. Once I am done doing that, I look at the clock. It's 3:46. The party starts at 7:00. I don't know what to do for that many hours. I go onto my Laptop and go onto youtube. I see a recommended video called "Pranking my friend with song lyrics." I watch the video and then get and idea. I am going to prank David with song lyrics. I go onto google and pick a song. After a while of looking, I pick Starving by Hailee Steinfeld.

Liza: You know just what to say

David: About what?

Liza: Things that scare me I should just walk away

David: What scares you? Why should you just walk away?

Liza: But I can't move my feet

David: Why not??? This is alarming

Liza: The more that I know you, the more I want to

David: Want to what?

Liza: Something inside me's changed

David: Liza I am so confused

Liza: I was so much younger yesterday

David: Yeah obviously! Yesterday was in the past

Liza: I didn't know that I was starving until I tasted you

David: No plz don't eat me XD 

Liza: Don't need no butterflies when you give me the whole damn zoo

David: Starving by Hailee Steinfeld?

Liza: Shoot!!!

David: Are you trying to lyric prank me?

Liza: Maybe :D

David: Haha that was pretty funny

Liza: Ugh I am so board.

Liza: *bored

David: Wait you turned into a board?

Liza: Don't make me feel worse about my spelling mistake! I am typing this on an iPhone! The screen is little!

David: Liza, the board. I like it. It's our inside joke.

Liza: I hate you sometimes

David: Yeah you are delightful too! :)))

Liza: What is :)))?

David: :) is a smiley. :))) Is a double chin smiley.

Liza: Haha! That is pretty good! :)))

David: How Many chins does this guy have?

Liza: :))))) That many

David: :D

Liza: Ok well see you at the party. I am going to nap.

David: Have a good nap baby Liza

Liza: Night night David

I close my phone and lay on my bed. David somehow always makes me laugh.

*A few hours later at Zane's house*

I walk over to Zane's house since he only lives about 20 minutes away from me. I get to the house and knock on the door.

Zane: "Hey Liza. Some people are already inside."

Liza: "Ok. Thanks for inviting me!"

Zane: "No problem."

I walk inside and see most of my friends. I spot Scotty talking to a girl I had never seen before.

Liza: "Hey Scotty!"

Scotty: "Oh hey Liza. This is Kristen. I have some classes with her."

Kristen: "Nice to meet you, Liza."

Liza: "Nice to meet you to!"

She gives me a friendly smile and I return one. I leave them to talking, and I walk off. I go over to the food and drink table. I grab a bag of chips and a bottle of water. I jump when I feel a tap on my shoulder.

David: "Hey Liza!"

I turn around fast and spill some water on David.

David: "Hey! What was that for?"

Liza: "Oh I'm so sorry! I turned around too fast, and I guess my water wasn't closed. Here I will get a napkin. I'm so sorry!"

David: "Liza. Chill it's ok. It's just water! I don't mind."

I grab a napkin and start rubbing the water off of his shirt. I blush with embarrassment.

David: "Here, give me the napkin."

I hand him the napkin and turn my head to the ground.

Liza: "I'm sorry."

David: "Stop looking at the ground. And stop apologizing. Liza, it's ok."

Liza: "I just don't want you to be angry at me."

David: "I would never be angry with you."

Liza: "Ok."

I smile up at him, and he grins back. Suddenly Scotty yells across the room.

Scotty: "HEY ZANE! ARE WE GOING TO PLAY ANY GAMES?"

Zane: "Yeah sure. What does everybody want to play?"

Erin: "Twister!"

Everyone agrees, and we start playing.

*A bit later*

Gabbie: "Zane get off of me!"

Alex: "I don't even know where my feet are."

Zane: "In my face!"

Carly: "This is way to squishy."

Kristen: "Does everybody want to give up and play something else?"

Everyone: "Yeah!"

We all colapse and start laughing.

Liza: "That was fun!"

David: "Yeah."

Scotty: "What's next?"

Carly: "Spin the bottle?"

Everyone agrees. I really don't want to play. Everyone gets up and I walk over to the drinks table to get some more water.

David: "Hey, do you want to ditch this party?"

Liza: "How did you read my mind?"
